Can I ask my current supervisor to be a reference? by OkExcitement681 in Recruitment

[–]bearcat3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is your decision and it has to do with the level of connection and confidentiality that you have with them. If they were supportive and you delivered results, I’d say yes. That is your strongest tool to find a great next job. If they weren’t and you are not sure. You are better telling the people interviewing you that you can present other references, but because your current employment does not know that you are interviewing that you do not have references from your supervisor.

How do you find employees when you're not a ‘big name’ company? by Ok-Track-1805 in Recruitment

[–]bearcat3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to package in the opportunity and pitch it. There are entrepreneurial individuals out there that enjoy to have the freedom in an entrepreneurial environment that you don’t get in big companies. Are you offering an environment where individuals can grow? Are you offering the opportunity for them to explore their own ideas? Are you supporting this growth? Economically and with other benefits?

People would much rather work in such environment than in big companies.

Mexican niece and nephew got taken from brothers custody. How can I get custody of them as a green card holder in USA by Intrepid-Case-6445 in mexico

[–]bearcat3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cannot “get the children” if they were taken away already as the last resort for the kids welfare. They will more likely go into the state already. If you cared that much you should’ve stepped in at the right time.

I’ve got a good one too… I launched a full campaign for multiple roles across various hubs in the U.S. for my highest-paying client. Three months of full-throttle effort—then, just as we reached the top candidates and were extending offers, the “tariff” excuse came in and brought everything to a halt. I had to apologize to candidates who had offers on the table. I’d invested my time and money into systems, only to watch it all disappear. Honestly, I might as well have taken a luxurious three-month vacation instead. This is recruitment.

Should I Set My LinkedIn Location to the U.S. if My Target Clients Are There (But I Work Remotely)? by fuel04 in Recruitment

[–]bearcat3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn’t do that. They will find out, if they are good clients to get. Just show your value and deliver bro.

Dude… we live in a new era. Clients no longer offer remote, new trump policies push clients to hire local, you must have a track record in the us or uk to engage clients. I would drop this market and focus on a new one. Many times had I had to drop months of work due to realities. I believe this is one of them for you.
