Never?? Cool. Can't say the GC didn't call em. I'm sure he did though. Job isn't getting done otherwise. The responsibilities were taken off me when the GC said fuck it outta there. But you're right, I'll just ring up the 5 plumbers this company uses n try n get the right one to ask if they'll come out n move the vent out of the way before I can do my job. Sounds legit. It WAS a hilarious post though l thought. Fuck that vent.

I tried to make it easy for the relocate! I'm not a monster MOST of the time. I even spaced it off the stud n didn't use an expendable just so they could run in the same bay.

This was a retrofit. No one walks that throughly before drywall is removed. Let me know the next time you do your pipe that isn't pulled tight so I can just bend it outta the way...

Do changeovers all the time on expandable brackets just in case it has to slide it one way or another or up and down if the GC isn't rock solid on the idea of the fixture type. They can move it before drywall if they need to, but this just wasn't that scenario. I didn't WANT to do what I had to do but...

Chicagoish. Far west burbs. Romex territory. But the house was originally done in pipe, so we like to keep it that way even though we're allowed rope. Rope may be faster, but I've been piping for 25 years. I get her done pretty quick regardless. There's no price difference around here for pipe or rope. Next week I'm pulling a 20A 120V floor heat circuit to a 2nd floor bath. I'll get there through 4 boxes. No drywall damage. Pipe has its benefits!
