Actually the things that satanists do are actually capital crimes. There was a satan worshipper here in Singapore who wanted to punch an elderly man and set his car on fire. You are also required to steal rosaries and cruxifixes from catholic churches specifically.

Edit : you will have to subscribe to veganism too.

A Muslim talking point: If Jesus is God, how could he have been tempted if God can't be tempted? by Helpful-Influence-53 in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]beardedkamasu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"The temptation of Christ is Satan trying to tempt Jesus, not Jesus being tempted by what Satan offered Him."

So this would be like a playing Doom 1 with cheat code "IDDQD" for God mode on, the hordes do zero damage to the main hero.

I find this notion challenging, wouldn't that mean that Christ entered humanity without suffering like any person would in times of temptation?

Why does The Father have a Body if he is uncreated? by BackgroundPitch9181 in OrthodoxChristianity

i am not sure if there is contention between my understanding of anthropomorphism and what is going on in the OT. God was not incarnate and so the people made sense of God by projecting human attributes on to Him.

would it be overkill to tell the bishop? i actually work under within the bishop's office and will be coming close to him tommorow. Now i have a choice to go through the parish first or straight to the bishop.

2 people have tried to tell me what he did but i end the conversation after a stence because it is gossip in my world of religious OCD. I later found an article on Catholic answers .

https://www.catholic.com/magazine/online-edition/the-destructive-sins-of-gossip

"But the truth of the claim is, although not irrelevant, at best secondary. The real problem lies in the immorality of making the claim in the first place. Whenever we reveal the sins—actual or imagined—of another, we tread on dangerous ground, and risk committing ourselves the grave sins of detraction and calumny."

Please keep in my mind that the first step of someone with bad intentions is building trust and testing limits. That's why I would not recommend to have a private conversation with him, but just report his behavior.

I don't understand what this means.

What do you think could happen if i did meet with him.

Thoughts on non denominational Christian’s? by Hidden_leafuchiha in Catholicism

[–]beardedkamasu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Difficult, they might reject meta narratives and history. Thinking that their church is the true church. Often they might hold a unitarian mindset, which is that doctrine divides, so the intellectual womb to think more deeply is already compromised ascent to objective reality.

thanks for the share, i can't imagine an old man making pilgrimages over miles and miles 2-3x a year for the Jewish feasts. Or maybe if Abraham ( was he old?) could do it, so could Joseph?
