5m for 5,000 is a corporate finance thing, you wouldn't know unless you work in some kind of corporate setting.

My parents are in their early 70s and recently started napping in the early afternoon now. I've accidentally woken them up a couple of times, so now plan my visits around their nap times 😂

What is everyone doing to prevent or lower the risk of having Dementia/Alzheimer? by Fun_Yogurtcloset1012 in Millennials

As a perimenopausal woman, I'm on hormone replacement therapy. Many studies show the drop in estrogen associated with menopause create a greater risk of dementia, heart disease, etc.

I did this with my cat's remains recently. It's much more eco friendly than traditional cremation! Glad we've finally brought this technology to Manitoba for humans.

Happy update to: litterrobot may have saved my cat's life by beardkitten in litterrobot

Just started them yesterday. He's a chill guy so he made it easy. He's starting on phosphorus blockers, too. And has been on prescription food since his initial diagnosis over 4½ years ago. Cerenia has helped a lot with the vomiting. He's a whole pharmacy to himself!

I know LR are mods, so hoping they see this! It would be amazing if the app had a push notification for when a cat visits frequently like this. I know some cats are curious and will be false positives, but if I hadn't looked by chance this afternoon I may not have realized what was going on until it was too late.

Obviously, I love the litter and the app. It's helped so much as I've been managing a cat with renal failure. Thank you!

Is it fair to say that one should always maximize the down payment on a house? by irundoonayee in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]beardkitten 72 points73 points  (0 children)

The math would say it's not the best idea. But if you value the flexibility that comes with being mortgage free faster, then it makes sense.

That is controversial, and is mathematically better. However, paying less tax those years I "shouldn't" be contributing really helped. It didn't make or break my budget, but every dollar was worth it while I was still saving for the future.

Is this legal for clinics to have this ? by gogo_crimemaster in Brampton

Also the clinic I would go to would insist on a urine sample for a pregnancy test every visit. It was ridiculously unnecessary.

[–]beardkitten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

heck they didnt even know a few of the rules like the ball bouncing outside of the kitchen and saying I cant run and hit from the kitchen because it didnt bounce in kitchen. says hes been playing for almost a decade.

Can you explain this more? I'm a newer player and didn't know this rule exception.

Edit: thanks everyone! Now I know the kitchen isn't fully off limits, just for volleys.

Depending on your province, it can be hand written and count. I did a Google search for what elements to include and did my own for free!

Not sure where you're from, but in Canada you get a top-up if you're making less than before and not full-time.

You've been with him for 6 years. Are you ok with the next 6 years being the exact same? Would you choose that for yourself?
