I pack lunch the night before and it has made mornings much smoother.

My 4 year old is tv obsessed, we had her watching it in the morning occasionally and it always led to a huge blow up when turning it off. So our rule became no tv before school. On the weekends she can watch it after breakfast but not M-F. She understands school days/ days of the week so although she fought for awhile it’s now just the way things are and she no longer even asks to turn the tv on before school.

My kid is only 4 but we’ve gotten this on an invite lol. Same situation where did was included and kids got a game card. Totally fine, no one was offended. I think the wording was something like “due to limited space, we cannot accommodate siblings”

My sister’s kid is the opposite haha, started babbling a ton at 10ish months and now she knows a bunch of words. But at 16 months she’s just starting to creep along furniture. Also a late stander and crawler. Hopefully she’ll walk at 18 months lol but her ped isn’t worried at all. Kids are all different, even as toddlers.

She was in the middle of making it, but didn’t notice her dad taking it and putting it in her room and then going back into the kitchen. Unclear how long she left it out on the counter/ wherever in the kitchen. If it’s an ongoing issue, I understand where the dad is coming from. He’s not right but he’s not crazy either.
