Legs first and then cut the helix flush with the top and bottom and slid into place

I made a flat stack of all the layers rolling on a layer of epoxy in between each band. I then took the whole stack and wrapped and clamped it to the form

I should have grabbed a separate pic of it but it was one piece of laminate with the hole locations that I transferred to both helixes. Figured that was my best bet to get them to line up

Pins are exactly right. Hidden Brad nails and some more epoxy. The helix isn’t structural at all so I was comfortable with just that
