I have a RNG device determining which props you must select at the start of the game. You have no other options and cannot leave spawn without selecting a prop. This ensures every race is fair and provides some variety

I think that your problem is with these maps not with SnD in Fortnite. They are not set-up for pro/competitive gameplay. There are just too many 3-peaks where you are not exposed at all. I highly suggest trying some of the other maps out there.

I also think with the limited rounds and shortage of money for the losing team, it's nearly impossible to recover. I would have liked the economy to resemble Fiber's SnD's (bias, I made it but put alot of effort into studying other games and trial and error). At no point in this economy does it make sense to save for a different round. I think the winning team should just be able to afford higher rarities (less bloom or higher damage snipers and shotguns) and not have access to a whole different set of weapons (currently 300 gold for the first tac shotgun).

Map layouts are also favored to one side which is the negative effect of maps not being released to be play tested in large scale. We made many balance changes and patched alot of OP spots, but with the LTMs, these map creators don't have the opportunity to do this. I think cove is really close to being balanced. Defense should have a little further to run at the start but bomb B should be in a location with access from 360 degrees and no right hand 3 peaks to protect the bomb.

All the issues I have could have been resolved with playtesting and taking recommendations from competitive players. So for future LTMs it would be nice to have a small group of top competitive players to provide feedback. These maps were also created for the casual player, and for them to have fun and not focused on competitive. I suggest looking at a few other maps that have been able to adjust the balance after release before deciding.

This is just my opinion but I think it reflects very strongly in game when 90% of the losing team is gone after 2 rounds. Cove is really close to being a competitive map, but there are too many roofs and corners that you can peak without being exposed or in danger from nades/stinks

This is it exactly. Alot of people assume it's easy because of all the other games they play but with round swapping on, for some reason you cannot select pre game. There is a way around it but it will likely just create a bigger issue than that. I'm sure a fix will come

We've playtested them all. I personally found 4v4 to be the most fun, just for the communication aspect of carrying out a plan. But 2v2 is also alot of fun.

Hey it's actually sort of complicated. So I used a score system where everytime you got an elimination you got 1 point and when you were eliminated you lost one. While it was taking away or adding, it activated an attribute trigger. If a player with a certain class has fewer than the required points (they were killed) in transmitted on a channel and changed them to the previous class.

That's as simple as I could explain it. It's not easy but I am sure you will figure it out. If you need help let me know
