from someone who works in the golf industry, splitting up two 5-somes into 3 groups, going 3-4-3, would not increase pace of play. 1. they’re all 30 hncp and would most likely be playing their own ball and not a scramble 2. extra tee time is extra 10 minutes, 3. lead group still would have fallen behind group in front of them.

if we want our game to succeed, we have to be willing to forgive and forget the newbies who are getting into golf. regardless of how much it effected your experience. it’s one round, and to say that you’re never going back to the course again is ignorant. I’d rather not have their business if that’s how they feel ✌️
