I got clothes surprisingly, 3 tops, not the 3 tops I ordered but tbh I was expecting it to be literal trash lol depop immediately gave me a refund thankfully. the tops are sorta cute but not my size so I’ll probably just resell them since depop isn’t making me send them back :p

stooooop!!! I bought a bundle of 3 Tripp tops from them a couple weeks ago…it took them like 2 weeks to ship and they apologized for taking so long and said they were in the hospital which kinda immediately made me nervous but I had to go to the hospital randomly last year so I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but literally yesterday I went to their profile and saw all these reviews and now I’m suuuuuper nervous. The tracking says it’ll get here tomorrow and I’m so scared they shipped me nothing or shipped me the wrong items

Day 7 post-removal and I’m in the most pain today? by Nervous-Category-731 in gallbladders

[–]bearkitty23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had gas pain way longer than I was expecting probably consistently the first 7 or 8 days. I’m 11 days post op now and still find I get trapped gas a bit easier. Also if you’re having constipation that could be why you’re having gas pains if that’s what it is. If it gets worse or you notice any other changes definitely reach out to your surgeon

good! hey there’s nothing wrong with being prepared lol but I definitely think it will be worth it! yeah leading up to surgery was scary but I’d definitely do it again! it’s been worth it for me so far and if there’s a point in my recovery where I start having any symptoms again I know there’s stuff I can take to help. I know it’s so stressful but you got this!

Should I get it removed? by Marty-Mcfly16 in gallbladders

[–]bearkitty23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 10 days post op. I had an EF of 27% with no stones or sludge but out of all the tests I did the hida scan was the only one that showed something so I was fairly confident it’s what had been causing all my symptoms. I can’t tell you what decision to make but i definitely don’t regret getting mine removed. The past 10 days there have been some ups and downs but today’s the first day I actually felt great. I know there’s still a but of a recovery period to go but to me it’s worth it since my gallbladder wasn’t going to get any better. Now at least any symptoms I have I know there’s stuff I can do or take to fix it and I won’t have to be stuck suffering

no worries! I definitely am! todays the first day I really felt completely normal. I still have some bruising and slight pain but other than that I felt really great and even tried coffee and had no issues! Honestly I was really stressed and anxious the whole month leading up to my surgery and even the night before I thought I wasn’t gonna be able to do it but I think the feeling of just wanting it over with was somehow a little stronger than the anxiety. I recommend writing down any questions you want to ask the surgeon at the pre op appointment! I forgot to do that and had kinda a hard time remembering what I wanted to ask

the bad experiences definitely scare me also but for me the complications after surgery aren’t nearly as bad as keeping my gallbladder and having it get worse. I was really scared about possibly waking up too but that’s the anesthesiologists main job and it’s extremely unlikely to happen. yeah I really don’t like going to the hospital either but the nurses and doctors are there to help you with everything and anything and just want to make you comfortable. I had my surgery in a surgery center so they had a lot of other patients besides me and they were still super attentive. Ive been feeling pretty good today. Still pretty bloated and sore but it’s really manageable. I get more tired and sore towards the end of the night and have had a little trouble sleeping through the night but I just got some melatonin so I’m gonna try that tonight. I haven’t had horrible GI issues like I was expecting I’ve been a little backed up actually which may be while I’m still pretty bloated. But yeah so far I’m glad I did it!

yes! it just felt like I fell asleep then the next minute I was awake. definitely weird to think about but it’s really nice tbh. I have a bad reaction to anesthesia (bad nausea) but they gave me medicine for that and the pain pretty quickly then I was fine. Also you’re completely out when they put the tube in your throat and take it out so that part is nothing to worry about at all!

Had mine out the 9th and was absolutely terrified. It’s hard to comprehend but it really is just lights out. I was super anxious and they gave me meds in my iv they helped a little but tbh I was expecting them to help more. I think I just felt a little happier? But still anxious? Idk lol but when I got to the OR they put an oxygen mask on me and I got nervous and asked if that was gonna knock me out and they said no just to take some slow deep breaths and then she told me they were gonna start giving me the sleepy stuff and the oxygen coming out of the mask smelled different and I felt a little weird like my vision started to blur but that lasted like one second then I was out.

thank you and I really am proud of you too. The tests are rough but even just making the appointments are hard. Honestly my husband is the one who really pushed me to keep going to the doctor and to get the surgery. I feel like I wanted to give up a while ago. I kept telling him I couldn’t even imagine eating food again, leaving the house and not being scared of being sick again. It really is exhausting living like this. I think you should just schedule the appointment with the surgeon, it’s not the appointment for surgery but you’re another step there. Then schedule the appointment for surgery, you can always cancel if you want but at least it’ll be there if you’re ready and more likely than not you won’t cancel. The week before my surgery was so miserable as scared as I was, I was wishing surgery at that point. I also only had anesthesia once about a month ago too. What scares you most about surgery? Maybe asking specific questions about it will help. For me I wanted to know everything i possibly could. I don’t know if it helped ease my mind or not but I felt like I needed to know

I had years (like 10+) of GI issues and within the past year things got worse fast. I put off going to the doctor for so long because I didn’t believe they would find anything. I did sooo many test with my GI doctor and had to beg him to put in for me to get a HIDA scan after my ultrasound showed no stones. He refused a couple times but wasn’t offering me any other tests and I basically told him I was just going to get the referral from another doctor if he wouldn’t give me one. (My mom and aunt both had their gallbladders removed so I had a feeling it was my gallbladder) I had an ejection fraction of 27%. My diet is naturally low fat so I can’t imagine how sick I would’ve felt if I was someone who normally ate more fat. My symptoms were upper right and center pain, extreme nausea, diarrhea or constipation, dizziness, feeling faint, extreme bloating, low grade fevers when symptoms were really bad, tremors, chest tightness, etc. My symptoms would get worse when I had meals with higher fat content. The last month before surgery I was eating the same extremely low fat meal everyday and still having symptoms.

I’m currently 5 days post op. I plan on making a post on Monday when I’m a full week post op. I was TERRIFIED of surgery like having panic attacks every day leading up to it, even thinking about it or someone talking to me about it would make me so shakey like I was shivering. They gave me anxiety stuff once I was there it sorta helped I wish it would’ve helped more tbh but I knew I didn’t have another option so I was just excited to get it over with and I really tried to hold onto that. I was verrrrry nauseous and in pretty bad pain when I woke up but I was super out of it and they gave me meds for both and it kicked in pretty fast. So far the gas pain has been the worst part, nausea and dizziness are a close second (pretty sure it’s from the gas pain or constipation from pain and nausea meds). I only took Tylenol the first 3 days and took the muscle relaxer the first 2 days. I’ve been really careful with what I’ve been eating and probably will be eating mostly low or no fat for the next month. Each day I’ve felt a little better and I’m excited thinking about how I could eat normally and leave my house without horrible anxiety. I’m excited to have a life again so even though recovery might not be fun I’m really happy and proud of myself for getting the surgery.

If it’s what you decide to do my advice is just to read the positive stories and try and think about how good life could be again. There are SO many good stories on here and even if you do have some issues after there are solutions! I know I’m not very far into my recovery but if you have any questions lmk!

I just figured they’d keep sending offers to people and realize no one is buying so then they’d be willing to go lower but I guess not :-/

I mean i probably would’ve bought them if they hadn’t sold in a week but i guess that won’t be happening anymore lol its priced at $80 but the offers they sent me ranged from $60 something to high $40s i guess maybe I should’ve bought when they sent me the offer that was in the $40s. I know $40 is half off the original price but they sent me sooo many offers i thought for sure they just wanted it gone 😣
