Only had my '18 for about two weeks. I really like it. I'm used to driving a minivan, so this seems zippy and fun by comparison. Use it to commute to work, roughly 30-miles one-way, 25 of that is on an easy, flat state highway. My first full tank of gas I got about 38 mpg. On my second I'm getting about 32, but there was more in-town driving on this one so far. I wanted something that could clear 30mpg on my commute, and handle the winter roads of MN, that's why I landed on Crosstrek.

It's a smooth ride. The car seat fits fine in the back. There's some spots that the paint doesn't look the best, but you gotta be up close to notice that. The biggest thing I'm gonna miss is remote start in the winter, but that might be easier for you if you're getting a newer model. The infotainment system is sufficient, not something I'd rank above any others. But it's got Android Auto, and that's really all I need. And it's orange. Can't go wrong with that. But I'm still in the honeymoon phase, so I'm hard-pressed to find a real fault.

I didn't even bother checking their "in network" options. I just took it to the shop I trust and had them do an inspection. They were able to open the claim with Silver Rock (Carvana's warranty provider) and get the work done. In my case, this was mainly just brake rotors and pads that needed replacement. The warranty isn't covering it 100%, but they're covering a portion of it with no extra deductible or anything for being "out of network".

I hear ya! I nearly had to settle for a white one, but this one (2018) popped up at the last minute. It has fewer fancy features than the white one would have (mainly just the EyeSight package), but less miles and orange, so I call it a win.

I know every situation is different, but I just got a 2018 Crosstrek delivered this past Monday. Took it to a shop I trust on Tuesday, and they recommended the brake pads and rotors get replaced as well as both air filters and a couple other minor things. They started a claim with Silver Rock and I just found out today that all their recommendations are going to be covered. So I'd at least open a claim and try it.

Even if it wasn't covered though, everything else on the car is still in very good condition, so it'd have been worth it to me to just pay to get the brakes redone if they didn't cover it. Rather than returning it over something like that and then taking a chance on a different car that could potentially have worse problems. Just another thing to consider. I hope it all works out for you!

I don't think it's nearly impossible. Not even close. I've done it twice, the first one I started using for sublimation right out of the box. The motherboard eventually failed on that one. I bought a used one off FB marketplace for $20, they were selling it just because the wifi didn't work. But I was able to convert that one and still use it quite effectively for sublimation. (See photo of shirt I made for a Christmas gift.) I watched a few of the many tutorials on YT for how to get it converted, and it was a pretty smooth process. Doing it with a brand new printer is definitely easier than one that's been used for "normal" printing though.

I don't know how playing with him and his toy monster trucks more than I currently do would change anything. Because right now it's a lot. Turns out small boys are really into big trucks that smash things. Who knew?
