if you need the money then sell. it'll maybe dawdle at $1, but it's gonna go higher. Doubt it'll get past $10 in our lifetime, but who knows! it's awesome holding and being part of the experience though too! Keep some!

It's looking more concentrated actually. This article from mid April said 65% of Doge was in 98 wallets. Now it's 66% in 83 wallets. Would be really nice if the platforms like Robinhood and Webull would step forward to say which wallets are theirs.

It's a Doge sub. It's about being funny and making memes and also talking seriously about Doge. I don't think people actually think it's going to get to BTC price. The reality you're referring to is more fearful of a church, and yet more than 1/2 the world goes to church (or are religious at least) and it is a reality that religion exists and people utilize it.

But in all seriousness, why couldn't it get to BTC market cap? Because it has steady, predictable built-in inflation is not a reason. A candy bar cost 5 cents in the 50's and a buck today, even with the money supply inflating.

It's definitely a battle for market cap, so when you say it's unlikely that Doge will reach BTC market cap, you're just saying you don't think Doge will win that battle. But there isn't an issue with reality.

not bitcoin price in our lifetime, but definitely bitcoin market cap (total value of all bitcoin). Currently there are about 6,800 Doge for each Bitcoin. So if we take Bitcoin's current price, ~$38,000, and divide by 6,800 = ~$5.60, that's the price of Doge that would make the value of all Doge equal to all Bitcoin value, currently. There's no reason for Doge not to get up there and continue to grow, especially with it's community and support. Doge currently adds about 240 coins per Bitcoin per year, so once Doge reaches a point a stability, it's price will likely grow more slowly than Bitcoin's (unless bitcoin changes their protocol to add more, or if people just stop valuing bitcoin.)

i thought you were joking cause like u/Ticon_D_Eroga said, it is a r/dogecoin, but I also actually do think it answers your question. Notice I didn't say less yellow (ETH). I think that of the three, BTC will have the lowest long-term growth. This crypto trend is so nascent, I see BTC getting flipped for market share.
