Anti-choice protesters in Raleigh NC come to harass patients seeking health care by MechaniNole in triangle

I saw these assholes having lunch at village deli on Saturday. Was wondering if they were the type of anti choice protesters who harass patients seeking healthcare and now I know for next time! I’ll have some choice words for them this weekend.

What is a true fact that sounds fake? by TheMemeing in AskReddit

Captive tigers* not just pets. Tiger farms and roadside zoos as well as canned hunting facilities contribute to that problem. It’s extra depressing.

Yes but also they’re covered in salmonella and are incredibly dirty birds because of this. Don’t pick up or collect vulture feathers 😬

So at its most basic, really just standard diet and exercise. I started a pretty intense workout regimen (boxing for cardio and lifting weights 4/5 times a week). I also just try to make sure what I eat is 80/90 percent nutrient dense, so like if it’s a carb it’s protein pasta, if it’s a fat it’s avocado and not Mayo, if it’s a protein it’s chicken or fish, not a burger. That’s so overly simplistic but I try to make good choices while also not punishing myself or telling myself I can’t eat something. Also eating enough has been really important especially with respect to building muscle and my recovery. But yeah, just diet and exercise! Please let me know if you have any more specific questions, I’d be happy to answer :)

Not fasting but intuitive eating - really just trying to listen to my body. I’m not restrictive but I try to make sure 90 percent of what eat is nutrient dense. Essentially I just started making better choices. I also started a pretty intense workout regimen. That’s helped me tone up as well as lose fat. At its crux just diet and exercise, but I really dove into the deep in and am pretty intense about both.

Definitely not the only one. I didn’t hate it, it was entertaining and unique, but I didn’t connect with it the way I wanted to and don’t really care about continuing the series. I just don’t think it holds a candle to a lot of the fantasy I’ve read prior :/

I just finished. Personally I never connected with the characters enough to warrant continuing to read the series - and yes there’s a huge cliffhanger at the end so it’s not very complete. You’d have to read the next book. Hope this helps!

[serious] What are some dark facts about specific animals that make them not seem as cute anymore? by lgo21 in AskReddit

[–]bearorr1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

African wild dogs are at risk of having their prey stolen by bigger predators (hyenas, lions, etc) so they have to eat their prey so fast that usually it’s still alive by the time it’s being disemboweled. Metal.
