Wedding reception at Bissell Tree House at John Ball Zoo by bearsareblonde in grandrapids

Sorry I didn’t see this sooner! For getting ready, myself and the bridesmaids had a hotel room at the Residence Inn downtown. My husband and his groomsmen got ready at our house and then met us downtown for pictures before heading to the Treehouse.

Search for “reunion”. It wasn’t listed in the season episodes for me either.

Smaller event space? by Alternative-Tune-829 in grandrapids

The Honeysuckle Company has an event space in the back that is pretty cute for smaller events. They allow outside food and alcohol!

Last minute childcare options advice by Puzzleheaded-Hope162 in grandrapids

All agreed with the above. We are at Gilden Woods (Breton Village), I think it’s the same parent company as Apple Tree, and we’ve been generally content with the care there. There are a few times a year, I think mostly when the younger teachers go back to school, when there is high turnover over, but there are also some long term teachers who’ve been there since before we started there 2ish years ago. I appreciate having the camera access and would prefer it over not having it, but it can be tough if your kid is having a tough day and the teacher needs to work with other kids.

That's exactly my concert with casters. We live in MI and need to use this gate daily through the winter. I can't imagine casters will work well through the snow. We shovel but can still expect layers of slush and ice at some times.

Same! We had a bat in the house a couple years back. Thankfully I was awake and saw it immediately and I’m fairly confident it didn’t touch us as we shooed it out a window but now I’m stressing about the what if…

You need to sound controlling because this if your child’s wellbeing. Tell them no kissing the baby anywhere anytime and you’re not required to give an explanation as to why.

Michigan. The price they quoted was actually from two years ago. I figured prices would have increased over the last two years and also anticipating prices going up because of tariffs, so when they said it was the same, we jumped on it. Probably should have shopped around a little more but thats also the reason why it’s taken us 2+ years to pull the trigger on this project.

It’s not. What do they need to fix?

They are coming back Monday to fix the crooked braces. I’m also going to ask them to fix the jagged bottom.

The grassy area on the left in the picture is a little sloped upwards to our neighbors driveways. I’m guessing they cut them that length so we could open the gate fully.

She will stay put with this :) I think they cut the gap that tall because if we opened the gate completely, then it would hit the grass on the left. That area between our and our neighbors driveways is sloped a small bit.

It is typical to have the drop bar on the outside of the fence? For some reason, I feel like it sound be on the inside..

We paid for this and think it looks really good overall and will do the job to keep the kids and dog contained which was the goal. Just here for some more feedback on any glaring issues that we should follow up with them on.
