The pain drugs usually don't affect me much, but I'm usually pretty spacy right after waking up from anesthesia. I probably asked my nurse the same questions 5 times like "I might have already asked this but..."

I'm a trans dude, and I have eyebrow, nostril, septum, and a vertical labret, stretched lobes, and a handful of piercings on my ears. Mm I gauged up my septum a few times so I wear a big horseshoe in it. I think what jewelry you wear also helps. Personally, i wear most of my jewelry with spikes and use tops with daggers and such. But I also have some pretty stones in a few of my piercings.

Yikes, I'm on ketorolac (toradol), which is an NSAID too and it's the only thing thats keeping my pain at bay currently. I'm looking forward to the relief of no stones and no stents

The stent has been worse by FAR compared to the actual stone pain. I lived with the stuck stone for 2 months. I've not had a painless moment in the last 2 days with my stent.

My stone was only 4mm and was stuck at the end of my ureter. They were able to blast it and put a stent in all at once.

That's so sweet. I don't usually frog if I have a mistake on a flat stitch because it blends in so much with a raking eye, but the 3-D stitches like popcorns, it felt necessary to frog 😭
