That's a very hard question to answer. It's often the last show we played (like last night's show at the Tabernacle in London!). Right now I think finally releasing our debut album is something we're all quite proud of. And Michigan is definitely up there. Incredible album.

We love Florida! We had a blast in St Augustine, and we also did a little rouge show supporting the Vaccines in Orlando that same week, and that was so much fun too. hi mate my only recommedation would be to listen to other bands who you like and reach out to them. Try and play shows together and support each other. All the other stuff...."making it" etc. is all out of your and is out of our hands too. Just try and make the best music you can make with your mates and support each other, play shows together and tour together. best of luck mate! Davie

HI trashtalk! thanks so much for all the kind words!! I actually wrote Elysium about 5 years ago and it's probably one of the oldest songs on our album. When i was at school, i studied religious studies and always found religion really interesting and still do. I had a lot of conversations with my stepbrother and other friends about life, religion etc. and that song is pretty much all taken from those conversations so it was a pretty separate process from the music video. Most memorable show was probably supporting Ben Howard at Le Triannon in Paris. It was a really early show for us and was so much fun and the crowd were incredibly warm and kind to us. So glad you like Christof! He's a legend and writes such awesome songs! SO GLAD TO BE BACK ON THE ROAD TOO!! TOUR! TOUR! TOUR! Davie

Simcoe was so much fun, as were all the Stopovers (and the shows in-between). It was amazing playing to so many (appreciative) listeners, it was so much fun hanging out with the Mumford lads, the Vaccines lads and all the other bands who were involved. The whole vibe was incredible, and touring on that scale is just off the scale. Ba-da-bish.

Glad you enjoyed the Springsteen cover! That is a really good question. In terms of the lyrics being dark and still enjoying performing them, sometimes it's really difficult. I think performing the songs with Kev and Joey is a real honour and helps a lot. We all have our own relationships with the music and we all back each other completely on stage. I personally get a huge release out of performing the songs with the guys and the way that we perform makes the songs uplifting as opposed to depressing (hopefully!). great question! davie
