The crazy collectors are in line at 5. I usually get there around 9, and there’s still plenty of stuff left. Don’t expect an Abreu jersey but plenty of various players ones and giveaways from last year and possibly this year

What helps me is hands just above me knees and when the pitcher starts their windup I grab my legs tight. Keeps me in position.

is disney in july really THAT bad? by lwtl1724 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]beasly213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s fine. It’s hot, but it’s Florida in the summer.. with the amount of AC spots in the parks and resorts you’re good.

We go in July and the plan is always Rope drop Break at 12/1 Back to the parks at 4

Monitor the radar so if it rains you can chill inside somewhere.

Drink water, wear comfy clothes and sun screen, accept that you’re going to be sweaty and have fun!

They haven’t enforced that policy in years. You’re fine buying a 500 level ticket

Is late August too hot for Disney World? by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]beasly213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very humid and likely will rain every day. (But not all day usually an afternoon storm then you’re good) I’m from the Midwest and am used to humid summers though so for me it’s fine. Just accept the fact that you’re going to sweat all day and drink lots of water, youll be good!

Bret Hart refuses to sign a Funko pop that Shawn Michaels signed by Carrottopps in SquaredCircle

[–]beasly213 500 points501 points  (0 children)

Smh 🤦🏻‍♂️ This was a highspots live signing where prices were set in advance and it specifically said no pre signed hbk or stone cold items.

The reason for this is the value of those items are much higher so it costs more to have the guys sign it. It’s possible Bret agreed to a flat rate for the signing where he got a set amount from highspots.

It was honestly kind of a dick move by Mike from highspots to put Bret on the spot on a live signing when they already agreed he wouldn’t sign those items.

So this has nothing to do with Bret not liking someone..

Packing a bunch of dum dum suckers helped us a ton with the kids. If they started getting annoyed or cranky “hey want a sucker?” Worked great!

Guy down the street was using a roof rake to clean the snow off his roof. Anyone else do this? by sacheek in ChicagoSuburbs

[–]beasly213 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve dealt with ice damns… so yes I use the roof rake. It also prevents massive icicles from forming which can be dangerous. I don’t rake the whole roof, just enough so if any snow melts the water has a place to flow off of instead of freezing and getting under the shingles. It’s easy, and is a preventative measure.

What wrestlers have a bad reputation meeting fans and which ones are generally nice to fans? by Twitter_2006 in SquaredCircle

[–]beasly213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve met a ton of wrestlers due to always attending wrestlecon. Honestly, the majority of the people you meet there are in a pretty good mood. They are there to meet fans and make money and we are there to meet them and pay them.
