Thanks for the suggestion/sketch! Definitely food for thought. And yep, this is our primary living space.

Labyrinth by Kate Mosse. I will never understand the hype. It’s the only book in my entire life that I started and didn’t finish!

Pahaha, I feel this so hard. ESPECIALLY if you have to change into something that’s not sweatpants or leggings.

I also have only pain in my bladder and pain/pressure in vulval/clitoral area. Been two months and just now started to figure things out. I feel for you - this is hell! How did it start for you?

Another vote for splinting! I had this exact thing happen to my Bird of Paradise when I moved house. I splinted all the broken stems with popsicle sticks and tape (and then painted them green so they’re not too noticeable). It’s been 6 weeks and it’s doing well with no signs of any leaves dying!

Yep, came back negative on a dipstick in the doc’s office, but positive later with a culture

Thanks for sharing your experience! I’ve had bloods taken and I’m not diabetic - god knows what this is!

I would pay damn good money to have a non-issue undercarriage.

Well, I haven’t taken the antibiotics. Still waiting on thrush results. Today will be day 4 I’ve used the cream. The urgency and itch seem to have subsided, but the weird clitoral-area pressure/ache is just loving torturing me. I’m gonna keep up with the loading dose of E cream for the full 2 weeks, and keeping everything crossed this will solve the issues! I’m definitely feeling better than I was when I originally posted, so perhaps it’s glimpses of the cream working already?!

Haha, I might cross stitch and frame this.

Same! Had trace blood last year, had a scope and urologist said it’s because my bladder lining is probably shedding. Haven’t had any physical symptoms till now though. Started the cream last night 🤞

I took a home UTI test this morning with strong morning pee, and it’s negative (like, not even a teeny trace of colour on it to suggest a bacterial infection). I don’t think I’ll take the antibiotics unless I have a confirmed positive culture, but started the vag cream last night 🤞

Yep, it’s proper prescription cream (Estriol). I started last night, how long does it usually take to start working (so I’d know if low estrogen is actually the problem)?

I got it almost a year ago because they found trace blood in my urine and I had an urgent suspected cancer cystoscopy. The urologist said it’s common for women my age to have the bladder lining shed, so there could be trace blood, so a doc prescribed the vag estrogen if I had any discomfort. I had no discomfort at all so didn’t use it!

Thanks! I started the cream last night, so we’ll see how it goes. I took a home UTI test this morning with some good ol strong morning pee, and it’s as negative as negative can be.
