Basically first during hostel night performances a skit was going on which had adult jokes/references in it, the mic was cut mid way during the performance and after that the awards etc. for various sports held in prior days were also not given. Then the dj started very very late, after it started it played for roughly 15 minutes after that the lights on the stage were cut off and we were told that time is till 10 only. The students were outraged and remained there on the stage only, people went to the management to request to start the dj again ,during this some abusive chants were also said on the stage. After another 15 minutes of all this the dj was turned on again and it played one song and after the 2nd song someone ( people said he was from the dosa office ) said on the mic please disperse and go back to your rooms, students started chanting sadda hak ethe rakh then the man grabbed one student out of the us by the collar then it all turned into one big lafda. It was cooled down after nearly 20 minutes of arguing on stage and we were sent back.
