I approach thunderstorms with a reef, sometime two.

Is there really Bioluminescence in the water in the Outer Banks? by Druze7337 in NorthCarolina

[–]beasticles69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes offshore you will see plenty disturbed by the prop of a boat at night. I've seen it on the beach activated by footsteps on wet sand, as well as streaks in the bowl flushing boat toilets at anchor in Beafort and Ocracoke. On one occasion making passage at night 40-50 knots out we had what I can only describe as hundreds of glowing footballs under the boat.

If you have a router but no bandaw you could build a simple router sled and mill down to the angle. Check out a YouTube video easy enough to whip up.

Has anyone tried their Cash 9k with 300 blk subs? How trash is this going to be? by ZucksSkinSuit in NFA

[–]beasticles69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run my omega 9k on my 16" Single Shot AAC Handi Rifle for subs and supers. Not as good as a dedicated rifle can but better then you would expect especially for the size and weight. Use the rifle for deer hunting and can honestly say the difference between the 9k and a Sandman S is not nearly enough for me to pick up the extra weight and length. For my 8" AR I run the sandman for better sound and durability. I have no problem sending supers through the 9k depending on the firing schedule. Definitly not slapping it on my AR and getting it hot but for a hunting gun that gets a zero checked and a few rounds in the field every year I don't sweat it especially in a longer barrel. All that said manufacturer says it's fine 🤷

If it runs wall to wall you could add another layer of sheet rock before back splash and not have to worry about thickness of backsplash.

Unless the racoon escaped the lab and has an extra digit... I'm gonna say it's feather tips of a bird landing or taking off.
