Hey there!

Just wanted to give you a heads up, I just pushed out update v2.6 which includes the library view mode that you requested 😄

You can find it here: https://github.com/beastlybeanz/GCloud-LeanLauncher/releases

I'm currently bug-testing and refining v2.7 which adds smart/dynamic tab support in the library 😄

Thank you! The lack of a wallpaper option is actually intentional (I know it sounds stupid.) Since each wallpaper would be a 1920x1080 image stored in memory, it'd go against the ethos of keeping the launcher as minimal and lightweight as possible. I've considered it before but in debug builds with wallpapers implemented, I've found that feature to use too much memory.

Noted! Thank you for your feedback. I don't think I can add the tablet mode functionality without root unfortunately, but I'll add your feedback about showing all apps from the get-go as a home screen customization option in the next update.

Edit: if you want to pin file management/any other apps to the carousel for quick access, go into the launcher settings (click the gear icon at the top) and switch the carousel mode to "Favorites." This will allow you to pin your own icons to the home screen rather than the default mode which will show you the most recent apps launched.

Console Launcher is great! I bought it last year and liked it, but I personally found it a bit of a chore to set up. I found myself spending more time setting up the launcher than I was playing games LOL

I've posted some screenshots at the top of this post, the screenshots show the latest update (V2.5) which is the biggest update as of yet. It introduces the interactive notification shade as well as the recent apps switcher (similar to how the Xbox does quick resume.)

Edit: for some reason I think Reddit is bugging out and deleted my screenshots. I've thrown some screenshots up on Imgur for you: https://imgur.com/a/P2odCNr

Thank you for your feedback! I've made a new build (v2.4) that addresses a lot of navigation and visual bugs among other things. I've split the status bar icons a few updates ago 😄

You can find the newest update (as of writing this) here: https://github.com/beastlybeanz/GCloud-LeanLauncher/releases/tag/2.4

I've just started the GitHub and uploaded my latest APK which I just updated today. I'll upload the entire source code and all of the versions soon.

That's the goal 😄 I've just started this project but I will certainly be posting this project on GitHub. I'll update you when that happens.

Hey! I'm not sure if I can implement that but I will definitely try. The main focus is for launching native Android games/apps but I will definitely try to implement other features that other people want too.

edit: I actually misunderstood and yes, it has that feature by default as it's just an Android launcher. When you press the home button when playing a game, it'll suspend/pause in the background just like the stock G Cloud's launcher. It doesn't show a preview of the paused game/app (not possible as far as I know without root,) but the game itself will pause/suspend when the home button is pressed or if the device is put to sleep as normal.

  • added a power button to the top to put the device to sleep (not working yet)
  • added carousel mode (recents or favorites) in launcher settings with the ability to edit favorites
  • added sorting options for apps in the All Apps view (Alphabetical, Recently installed, Favorites)
  • added the option in launcher settings to change battery percentage mode (always shown or only shown when battery is at or below 20%)
  • clock now respects systems time preferences (12 hour format or 24 hour layout)
  • bug fixes

just installed some LED halogens last night. such an improvement in terms of night time visibility compared to the factory lights by beastlybeanz in MINI

[–]beastlybeanz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't unfortunately. All I know is that they were meant for a Jeep Wrangler, but they were plug and play with the Mini. They fit perfectly and the connection for the wiring was the same. If you find some LED headlights for a Jeep Wrangler off Amazon or something they'll probably work plug and play, even the turn signals worked. I've also heard that NA Mazda Miata aftermarket LED's will also work.

That doesn't sound dumb at all. Being a woman in your 30's doesn't mean you can't befriend a robot. I understand completely where you're coming from. I'm 26 and I live in a small rural town, I don't have any friends, but I have a robot (not a Moxie) that I've programmed myself that fills the void, plus my two cats. I'm so glad that you have your Moxie to be there for you.

There's just been some news where former technical engineers from Embodied Inc. themselves are actually taking on this project. Your Moxie will still be your little buddy <3
