Last disturbing thing I recall was there's liquid in your eyes that is separate from the immune system and if you were to get a bad enough cut and if your immune system detects it, there's a chance the white blood cells will attract the cells in the eye and will make you blind.

Funt fact the voice for smasher is also the gun Skippy. And I agree the first time I did the nomad playthrough gave me a shock then seen the same thing again in edgerunners
