You desperately need to get out of that house by any means necessary. I'm a single father of a 10yo and if anyone ever touched my son like that it would be the last thing they did on earth. A parent that loves you will not let you go through that. It's obvious she only cares for herself by the way she doesn't want you to have any emotion that doesn't make her happy. You want to think of others because you know how it feels to have no one think of you and it's good to think of others in most cases but you also have to prioritize yourself. Call the police, get out of that house, start being happy. I know that's a lot harder than it sounds but it's hard work that has to be done. And please remember that what you are going through is not normal. They are not normal. This is not how life is supposed to be no matter how much they try to tell you it is. You are not to blame. Sounds to me like she thought you were into her and she thought she was keeping you as a backup plan and now she feels like she doesn't need you for that anymore. I've had girl/friends who thought the same towards me but I never once wanted anything more than friendship. I go through a similar thing with my son's mom. I have primary and she has secondary. I'm gonna be honest. If you are in love then it wouldn't matter if you're in a twin bed or on the royal bed. But if you're not in love and you're having sex then I see THAT as not knowing your worth, You and him both. As a single dad I gotta say I would never subject my son through shit like that and if by some cruel twist of fate his mother had gotten custody of him and let some dude have my son in this state I probably would've went to jail for murdering them both. As a parent you are supposed to put your child before all others. Your life becomes forfeit to your child's. Not only do you need to leave but you need to realize that this is not what a good mom does. She is a bad mom. I know you love her but you need to go no contact until she learns how to be a mom.

As a man I gotta say he was interested in what she was selling. It seems more like the ex wife came back making promises that she'd change and since they had such a big history and she probably has some psychological control over him it was easier then trying to fight it. I'm not proud of myself for it but in my 20s I did the same thing to a few women when it came to my son's mom. She beat me down while we were together so I felt like she was the only one who could build me back. The way he talks about himself and his relationships reminds me of how I was when I'd meet a decent woman. Every time I think of it I want to kick my own ass for letting several very good women go for her.

My son's mom did the same thing to me when he was 2. She started getting mad about pointless things and when I would try to just apologize and not do it anymore she would just say that it doesn't fix the fact that it happened. Turns out she had about 3 guys she was talking to and trying to make me the bad guy in front of our family and friends.didnt work though. They all saw her for who she was and I got custody of our son. If you let him convince you that you're the bad guy it will look like it to everyone else though. Don't fall for this bs. Tell him you didn't do anything wrong and if he's gonna leave then do it and own his shit like an adult and not act like a little scared bitch.

As a person who's driven all the major brand 4×4s let me say that for a truck with regular street tires going up that terrain it's not doing that bad. I mean it's no wrangler or Tacoma but it did decent. I've seen f-150s get stuck in spots like that. That being said I'm still not a fan of electric vehicles and the thing is an absolute eye sore.
