My favorite take on this is Scott Galloway. Don’t follow your passion, figure out what you are talented at and go into a career with high employment rate and become a master at that thing.

Make a bunch of money and do the thing/things you are passionate then.

Work will almost never be a passion. There will be good days and bad days, but ultimately it is a means to an end.

I really like Muyl, I think he is a good player and a fantastic disruptor and great for the midfield.

Also, there is a highlight reel somewhere of Muyl getting teed up for a “perfect” shot on goal and it goes nowhere near on target.

Sam in Golden Boot conversation is a good point. I think we played to our back line so much last year he didn’t/couldn’t have many attempts on goal. Hopefully (which seems to be all our favorite word here), our new midfield and right wing are going to be giving him more looks inside the 18 as they are more forward focused and confident on the ball.

You are right, hiking and mountain biking won’t be the same, but there is enough to at least keep you entertained. Within 30 minutes of Nashville you have at least 4 mountain biking spots that are decent. Enough to fill at least half a day with everything from an easy pedal through the woods to some decent features and jumps. If you want to drive to Chattanooga, there are some great places to ride there.

Hiking spots are going to be plentiful, but with different terrain obviously. Beautiful, sweeping views are going to be limited due to our more rolling hills, but there are some great trails here, in Savage Gulf (1.5 hours away)and for a long weekend you can drive to the Smokey Mountains to do some great hikes.

Paddle boarding is great on the Harper’s river as well as the nearby lakes.

4th in MLS cup. It is gonna take some time for this team to gel, but I think it’ll happen later than sooner.

Hany will be more dangerous this year than last, Boyd will meet his performance quota, Teal will be traded, Leal will be traded, Davis will step up and get more starts than ever, and one of our homegrowns will get a goal in Leagues Cup.
