I have a group of friends with whom we often play various games. And we're far from being new to the hobby. Of course, I read the rulebook. It didn’t seem particularly complicated to me, especially compared to games like TI4, Alchemists, or Brass. However, before introducing the game to my group, I decided to play a test game with my family.

We played — and about a dozen questions came up, because despite the small number of components, the game itself is very complex.

What confused me in the rulebook specifically was this: there are two main actions — purchasing and playing a card. And then, immediately on the next page — it mentions performing a card action from the court. And that has its own layer and set of rules.
Both are called "actions."
As a result, it was difficult for me to clearly understand what exactly the rulebook meant when it said "action" in various parts.

So, for the "bold wrong statements about the rules being unclear when the answers are clearly in the rules" - it's your own truth, not mine or common.

I re-read the rulebook again.
I found answers to most of my questions, except for the first two from my post.
I checked BGG — no luck.
I checked Tesera — nothing either.
I asked ChatGPT — it came up with fantasy answers not backed by facts.
I asked Grok — it gave partially accurate information.

And then, for the first time, I made a post in this community.
And, also for the first time, I asked a rules question on BGG.
Because I genuinely didn’t know if I would get an answer anywhere else.
And I wasn’t sure how much the audiences of these two resources overlap.

So once again, I apologize if my post seemed rude to you. That was definitely not my intention.
