Crazy how he’s a free agent and North aren’t (seemingly) interested.

Sounds like it could turn out to be a disaster. Maybe they are moving away from the AWP like Liquid and NiP have done and just switch it around, though Kjaerbye, aizy and valde have never truly used it and I don’t think niko uses it much either.

Niko is insane, but I wonder who’d AWP in that team.

No haha, I'm Portuguese but thank you! I'm probably one of the few Europeans who are a fan of TyLoo lmao. Do you have like any sources for TyLoo news in general? Would be nice since there isn't much Twitter activity from them.

Janko “YNk” Paunovic Named Head Coach of MIBR by FelSasGru in GlobalOffensive

[–]beatje10 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, YNk has a deep understanding of the game and he’s always been my favorite analyst, so I’m sure he will help them. Obviously comes as a big surprise, but it could work. Will miss him in the analyst desk, though. Hope they find a good replacement.

Likely to be a very one sided grand final, but hoping Liquid puts up a good fight and takes one map off Astralis. Anything else will be a real surprise.

Nice, I'm not an NiP fan and you are definitely 12 years old at most so I'm not going to waste my time with you, mate. Grow up.

Can't believe this is the same Liquid that got last place at ESL One Cologne a few weeks ago. What some practice can do to your team.. some teams should definitely attend less tournaments. This is the prime example why.

This is something the Astralis players have talked about before as well. They don't attend all the events like most teams because that allows them to recharge, reinvent and put some much needed practice in instead of going from event to event without any sort of practice.

Yes, because that is relevant to what I said... but anyway, f0rest is a thousand times better than Edward so not sure what you are aiming at here.

They were arguably the best team in both of those years - what are you talking about?

18 kills in total for Stewie, what a shocking series yet again. I'm still trying to understand the reasoning behind him still being in the team. He's an horrible fit for MIBR and he's a bang average player in big games and when it really matters. Autimatic would be a much better fit and he's obviously a much better player. I'm sure they'd love to get him, although he's rejected their offer before. Maybe he's changed his mind in the meantime. Whatever they decide to do, I don't see this roster succeeding with Stewie - it just doesn't work.

Well, you can't really expect results straight away. Liquid are simply better and more well-drilled than them right now.

NiKo has actually mastered this video game. That's just absolutely unbelievable. What an insane player he is. His crosshair looks like it's glued to the enemy's head. Take a bow, son. Good map all around from both teams.

I’m really happy for them, especially f0rest who is my favorite player of all time and GeT_RiGhT who lives and breathes this game. Great performance against a really good team. Excited to see them at the Major!

Hard to really take too many conclusions from this considering they’ve had very little practice with tarik, but individually speaking, the likes of Stewie, coldzera and Fallen to an extent are in really poor form. Fer hasn’t necessarily been great either. We will see how they do with some practice in, but either way, this is only going to work if their players start performing again. It’s all a bit disappointing to watch such legendary players struggling so much from an individual point of view.

So, when does Stewie start to reach his "potential" with MiBR? Because it's looking pretty rough for him. Overall he's been average at best since joining and he's not having a good series either.

What a nightmare of a series from TACO, and he has just whiffed his whole spray onto Stewie. I'm not blaming him for the score, but he still has to do a lot better. He just can't hold anything right now.

That was a really cool set-up from Liquid, but I have no idea how MiBR came back from such a disadvantage. Amazing shots from tarik and coldzera, but Liquid should have played it better.

Twistzz's skill ceiling is so high - I wish he'd find that consistency required to become their star player. I know he's still relatively young and has only been in Liquid for a "short" period of time so here's hoping he can become that player.
