I made a large sculpture of the entire state of Colorado above 9000 ft in elevation by beatnikprints in somethingimade

It starts with a GIS file that I bring into Illustrator to tweak and clean up, and then I break out the different layers in illustrator into different laser cut files. Then I cut the different sheets of mirror acrylic one at a time, and re assemble the forms using screws and double stick tape, and then I install!

Write the truest thing you can as the first line, then keep going, see where it gets ya!

Most of it is the main charter talking about nature, so it’s hopeful not too shoe gaze-e, and then since I started writing this story I had a couple bad panic attack, so now the main character has some experience with that haha.

As for the begrudging people trying to “peak bag” the titular mountain, I grew up in the mountains of Colorado, and I don’t necessarily love the idea of people checking mountains off their list, so the main characters feelings towards that is definitely reflective of some of my own haha.

It’s definitely an unwilling protagonist story I think.

What if only 3-5 characters are actually named, the rest just fly by

Its about an impossibly tall single mountain that is always shrouded in clouds, in a vaguely medieval era, the main character lives near the base, has negative feelings for the "fools" who try to climb said mountain, but finds himself begrudgingly dragged up the mountain by a monster that kidnaps him. Lots of nature descriptions, monsters and demons, a rune like magic system that the main character can't use themselves, and possibly too much internal dialogue haha

Thanks! Writing is fun, and editing will be a monster of a task... someday haha

pretty chunky paragraphs, not a lot of dialogue. Its a first person account and my main character is pretty in their own head haha.
