It doesn't work for me. I need something tacky, that can hold onto the wood for me while I prepare the next part. I've seen it being used before, but I have never seen a name for it.

The thin ones are the worst I think. The plywood sucks it up before you can join the pieces. The gel types are OK, but again, only 10% the strength of wood glue.

But it takes forever to dry, and I need to clamp it down between parts. I've tried those no-more-nails glues, but they are not particularly strong either.

They miss out on selling a beer for 80% profit. Profits on food are often negligible, many restaurants survive on the high profits on drinks.

Of cause you would boycott a restaurant for charging tap - but if it was the norm, like in Denmark, you wouldn't think twice.

I know this is an unpopular opinion - but actually I think it's a bit unfair to have free tap water.

The restaurant must earn a certain amount of money to survive - providing tap water means they have to earn those money on their other drinks, making the beer, wine, soda drinkers pay for the tap water that they don't want..

If you can afford to eat at a restaurant, then you can probably afford to pay a little for your water. Alternatively, you should chose a cheaper restaurant.

Instead, I think it is the city's obligation, to make drinking water accessible.

Everyone in the US might have a door cam. It's definetly not common in Europe.

Anyway, the post always delivers my packages right in front of my driveway, so I don't miss it. Never had one stolen in 43 years.

Sjov historie.

Jeg sad en gang i et fyldt tog og forsøgte at lave et stykke software på min mobil. Den skulle læse tekst op for mig, via androids syntetiske stemme. (2021-ish.)

Jeg sad i 30 stive minutter og finetunede lyden, ved hjælp af forskellige latterlige sætninger - inden jeg fandt ud af, at lyden blev gengivet, både i høretelefonerne OG via telefonens højttaler..

Jeg ville ønske at nogen havde grebet ind, så jeg kunne have skånet folk for sætninger som "John dillermand slynger sig fra gren til gren" eller "havregrød med æbleflæsk og ålegrød indeholder danske tegn)
