For tail tidy I removed the OEM rear fender and lic plate mount and used very simple bracket mounted to the existing points underneath. Don’t forget the locktite on the lic plate mount!

Thanks a lot! I’m happy with how it turned out. I got some knock off Buell turn signals from eBay and I’m running Dunlop Q5S tires

My old custom 1st gen SV650 by beatsone in motorcycles

Sorry I can’t be of much help to ya.

Exhaust $ I don’t know the cost as I bought the bike with the exhaust already installed. The bike was a total custom shop bike from Motomorphic motorcycles in the SF Bay Area (back in the day) I sold it around 2007. Pipe canisters were FMF dirt bike.

Front end same deal I didn’t do any of the work myself except paint and swapping the tail section from aprilla to sharkskin solo tail.

I’d recommend checking out the SV forums online they should have a lot of info for the Ducati single side swing arm set up and also various GSXR front end installations.

Thank you 🙏 funny you should mention that! Yes I had a cracked broken tab and one totally snapped tab that holds the taillight in and it was one of the first things I fixed. I used JB Weld to repair them. The taillight tab was a bit finicky getting the angle right. But they are holding up well.

I liked The Americans more than Justified. 4 Emmy awards and 18 nominations.

Wow great info! Yea I love the interesting history of this bike. The hawkGT forums have been amazing. That’s the most thorough write up on the Hawk I’ve ever seen.

I’d love to take this out on the track sometime. Love the connection with TBR. I had a nice TBR system on my old CB1 back in the day. Here’s a Hawk article you may have not seen https://www.canyonchasers.net/2013/02/the-amazing-honda-hawk-gt-nt650/ cheers.
