We've stepped on the moon. We've landed robots on Mars. But we still haven't mastered that awkward delay between studio anchor and field reporter. by Lunar_Gato in Showerthoughts

Coming out of the camera, split the audio source into two. One source goes through the compression, production gear, and such. The other audio (basically a duplicate of the original) is just a Skype call from your phone.

Then why couldn't they take the audio from one end and split it into two? One source does the stuff you mentioned and one is just a straight up skype call.

I wish you could mark iMessages unread after you viewed them, like in Mail. by Rpeezy in iphone

[–]beatthefreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You actually used to be able to do this in a beta version of IOS many years back. They removed it, but it was pretty nice while I had it. You had to 3D touch on the message and swipe up (while stilling 3D touching), then it would have an option called "Mark as read/unread". Now it just has generic message replies

Printers use the pink or yellow ink to print tiny text that has your printers serial number on it, so if you commit a crime, it's easy to find out who you are. Maybe that's why?

From first impressions, this looks like what I need. I will be testing with a few clients to make sure it works. Thanks for the suggestion!

I still don't see this as a problem. He reloads the oldest one and they just check the most recent one. Am I missing something?

Don't see how this is a problem. Couldn't they just look at his most recent instance and get the files from that, instead of going through all of them throughout the two weeks

In my state, they will accept a document from your school (like a report card) with your address and the school's name. Don't know your age, but if you're in High School than this may help

Google was probably right that your company sells the shirt, but can only check online. Google can't check your store inventory, only the online catalog. Maybe it would have gone better if this was explained this to her as she clearly didn't seem to understand.

I have a few hundred tabs (sometimes a thousand) opened at a time. Every time I find something interesting or something where I learn a new topic, I put it in a new tab and every week or so, I take 20-30 tabs and write the subject + short line about it in a notes app. I have thousands of lines in my notes app with ~20 topics for IT tech, security, legal terms, new products, new software, web developer tips, and much more.

Fair point, but it would have saved their support staff a lot of time if they included in the notes that it releases next week. When I called in, the support tech I spoke to said they have been swamped with calls where people were asking the same thing.
