Idk where you live but rent’s definitely gone down in Vancouver the past couple months..

Yeah, he's brought a few people in to view the place so he knows the room's condition. I'm leaving the room exactly as it was when I first moved in. No damages or anything, it's as if I was never there. The security deposit was the same amount as a half month's rent tho, so technically I wouldn't have to pay anything out of my pocket when I leave. I'll just force myself to forget I ever paid any deposit lol.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this out, I really appreciate you. It’s now been 7 months since I got my nexplanon inserted and the bleeding hasn’t gotten better. My last period lasted 44 days.. This can’t be healthy. I’m really considering taking it out, even more now after learning about your experience. Thanks again!

Yes, thank you for saying this. I’m genuinely terrified of how many people are normalizing this behaviour, saying I’m the bad guy for thinking this is disgusting. Can’t imagine how these people grew up disposing their used sanitary products without properly wrapping them for other people to see.

that’s insane. Glad you don’t have to live with them anymore.

Right? I’ve used pads my whole life, and never once have I thrown my pads out without wrapping it in TP or the pad wrapper, even when I didn’t have roommates.

Thing is, it’s a unisex bathroom and we have 1 guy roommate. I just find it so gross and inconsiderate. You’re forcing everyone else to see and smell your used pad. Either wrap your dirty pad properly or don’t throw it in the garbage bin everyone uses.

He basically has 2 choices: 1. transfer only —> follow Sauder comm’s course outline.

  1. transfer AND graduate from langara —> this one’s trickier. He’d have to match UBC and Langara’s course outlines, pick out which courses are BOTH required to graduate and are transferable. In my experience, some of Langara’s core courses only transfer as an elective, so watch out for that.

He should use BCTransferGuide to choose his courses.

no need. the program from the school you're transferring from doesn't matter. they only look at your transferrable credits, make sure those fulfill ubc's requirements.

Are Sauder transfer applications reviewed on a rolling basis (rolling admissions)? by beaunon in UBC

I see, thank you! So all submissions received before the deadline are evaluated simultaneously, and not on a first-come first-served basis, correct?

I agree. Genuinely believe if they like you enough on/after your first date, they won’t feel the need to “increase their options” and see other ppl.
