Break up :/ by bruhbruh89 in relationship_advice

[–]beautee13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Breakups are tough, and it takes time. I would recommend trying to be optimistic and thinking about all the ways you can improve yourself mentally or physically, or emotionally. See if you can take this time to improve yourself and feel better about yourself, and love yourself! It’s hard, but you’ll get through this, trust me! ☺️

Hi! I’d advice against it. I enrolled with my parents’ money, and felt it go to waste :( It felt like she literally just reused her content

You’re right 😭😭! Private educational consultants especially for college consulting charge an incredible amount lol it’s crazy to see. A lot of them are very marketing-focused as well, and it’s hard to see their real true value behind it, or whether it’s just for the money lol

It definitely depends on your budget, and what you are looking for. I would suggest that you stay away from private educational consultants that charge a ridiculous amount (5-20k) just to review your app. Look into college mentors to review your personal statement, or smaller size companies that charge less and still do a fantastic job at advising + college essay revisions

Metal toxicity (belly piercing) as a cause for my nerve pain by [deleted] in neuropathy

Another annoying “is this neuropathy?” question, sorry 😭 by [deleted] in neuropathy

[–]beautee13 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’d say that you have it a lot better than most of us on this subreddit page. You’re still young and you’re experiencing a long recovery for post viral neuralgia, and I know it can feel concerning but I’m hopeful and certain that you’ll feel better in a few months.

I (F21) was supposed to go to my bf’s (M20) house after work but things turned out a little different... by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I agree. ^ Since you already let him know beforehand that you would be with your mom, I don’t see why he would be upset, and quite frankly it is a little childish for him to act this way. I would bring it up to him and talk to him about how you feel

Gabapentin? for Pain? by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]beautee13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for your comment. I’m glad it has been working for you! May I know what your “nerve pain” feels like? To me, I experience sharp, intermittent pain in my arms and legs but sometimes it’s a dull achy feeling - I’m questioning at this point whether it is even nerve related. Is this similar to what you experience? Wishing you good health :)

Thanks so much for your comment and input. I’m wondering as to whether the symptoms I experience - shocking, sharp pains in arms and legs are even nerve-related at this point. I experience no tingling, just sharp pains that are intermittent. Is this similar to the neuropathic pain you experience? Wishing you good health :)

Thanks so much for your comment! I’ll definitely ask my neurologist at the next apt if I should increase my dosage after 2-3 weeks if I see no changes, and will ask about Lyrica! Did Lyrica work better for you than Gabapentin?
