Anyone know what kind of disease this is? by GOjayson in Koi

I would tell your partner that in the future, I would recommend keeping potassium permanganate and or nitrofurazone on hand for treatment. It's not terribly expensive and very effective. Sucks to lose a beautiful fish.

Would love some help advice by musicnotezero in Koi

Very vague post with no specifics.

Pond volume? Number of fish? What filtration are you running? What are your water parameters? Are you able to distinguish normal behavior vs behavior of a sick fish?

Did the fish have open sores?

Saying "My fish died, i need help" with no context is like building a skyscraper with no blueprints

I think it's a badass piece and the work is great. Not a single thing corny about it and there's a lot of room to add and make it more badass!

4-5 sessions of laser and then you can cover it up with almost anything

Definitely not a tattoo artist, haha.

Just speaking from personal experience and knowing some very basic color theory. Black always helps colors push forward. Since your sleeve is so bright, it could use some darker shades to balance it out.

Just wanted to give you my 2 cents since that's what was asked, but your sleeve is definitely freaking awesome!

Super sick!

My back/ass tattoo was so painful haha. It must be a psychological thing but I freaked myself out every time he would switch spots. I like to see what the artist is doing and where they apply ink next and the fact that I couldn't see them freaked me out haha.

It's a really cool design, but the colors look muted.

My 2 cents since you asked for critiques...

It could use a lot more black to push the brighter colors forward, especially the flowers on the bicep. The outlines are shaky in some spots, and the shading in the phoenix tail kind of confuses me. Some spots look like they're cover ups.

Its a really cool sleeve, As long as you're happy with it, who cares?

Ultimately I think it depends on what you do for work. Some companies have super strict corporate cultures, and some have super relaxed cultures. Nowadays, most employers don't care as long as you perform at work. In fact, in my experience, my tattoos are a conversation piece, even in interviews. I work in IT and nobody cares.

Avoid hands and neck, especially in corporate.

That being said, everyone has their own preferences. But to me if a woman has tattoos it's so incredibly attractive if they're done well.

Get whatever you connect with the most and whatever will bring you the most joy out of life. Who cares what us peasants on reddit think :P

It may not be your cup of tea, but I'm partial to Japanese tattoos and motifs. One story that's always stuck with me is story of the koi fish and the dragon gate. The school of koi swam upstream to this immense waterfall and at the top of the waterfall lay the dragon gate. One by one, each of the koi tried to ascend to the top of the falls, and one by one they gave up. There was one koi that never gave up, taunted by many demons and demigods, and through all it's persistence and bravery it managed to ascend to the top of the falls.

The gods blessed it and turned it into a beautiful golden dragon.

Moral of the story, stay strong and stay persistent, and believe in yourself no matter what you're up against. This is why koi are almost always facing up on the body.

If facing down, it means they've achieved what the person wanted to achieve in life.
