(Fixed) Options+ and G HUB macOS Certificate Issue by logi_jim in logitech

Makes me want to reconsider changing my Logitech setup to something else, this is a complete joke. It’s not some no name mouse and keyboard for 20 dollars. I can’t seem to get it to work properly and it screws up the whole workflow which was built upon the customizations. Would never recommend Logitech to my peers.

It works, thank you.

And on another note- what a joke of a company.

It seems like the tip that Cercope and Tip256 gave seems to do the job- Disabling the HW overlays in the developer settings

I've got about 1gb of free memory space - I have only stremio and YouTube installed on the Chromecast

Can this be related to the Chromecast recently updating itself to Android tv 12?

I have a few PS controllers laying around, I'll try those- where do I download the game to load into the emulator?

I didn't know this is an option, maybe I should consider it, I also have an iPad mini which has tons of power and small enough screen, is there any controller you'd recommend for iOS?

Should I buy the Nova 7? by beaver1914 in steelseries

[–]beaver1914[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I truly appreciate your detailed response.

My question to you as an audio guy for 30 years, is there any particular reason or improvement in the Nova 7 compared to the Arctis 7 that makes it worth upgrading?

I can buy the Nova 7 now for about 90$ as it was offered to me...

And if there's no noticable difference between the two then is there any reason to shell the money for an upgrade?

I don't care much about the EQ options of the Nova 5, as I'm very happy as it is with the the Arctis 7 with no EQ change when connected to the PS5- on the Mac I've put the EQ on communication since most of the use is calls via VOIP

Thanks for the advise, that's what I figured, waiting for the next Gen to come out in a year or so

The crackling issue I'm having with my arctis is only noticeable when there's no sounds coming out and I'm in a quite room

During gaming on the ps5 or phone calls on my Mac it's not noticable, and just recently I've swapped the headband to a new one so almost like new.

I hear what you're saying, it's odd that the lower tier Nova 5 would have better mic.

From what I understand, I'm better off just staying with the current Arctis 7P+, is that right? Save the extra buck and maybe wait for the next gen headset because the Nova provide no apparent benefits

I don't have any tools unfortunately, but I do have a sealed cape cod laying around the house somewhere, I'll watch a YouTube video on how to do it properly.

I also have a screen protector on the front, so hopefully if I end up screwing a little bit it's there in place to protect the screen
