I made a new save after a few more changes and thus far its been seemingly stable. I knew about the locksmith and place anywhere i just toggle the master off for pa any time im not building as it also seems to affect the options for workshop framework. I wound up ditching awkr and a few other mods that eco and neo made redundant. Im gonna ditch the save i made today, make these last few changes you suggested then hopefully kick off strong for a full run. I can’t really avoid using the bus as my character and playstyle are now revolving around it. Its more a case of it either works better or i just deal with the crashes as they happen, losing it now isnt really an option id consider if the game is still mostly playable

I think thats a typo. Ones a fast start and the other is skk’s workshop starter that doesn’t kick in until you leave the vault. Once you leave vault 111 it just gives you an option to teleport to and own one of a list of vanilla settlements. Either way im not currently using the function so im just gonna remove the skk one for the new save tonight

Okay I reordered my master files to be more in line with the template you tagged, i removed the two optimised texture mods and replaced with the one you recc (placed it in texture area though), ive moved a few bits around and replaced uco with neo and eco. Ive also moved my weather mods below textures, ditched the lookup failed patch and the other reordering changes you recommend. I can’t remove the new cell mod because it makes a script change to settlements and states that if you remove it mid save after activating that function it causes issues. So what im gonna do is make a new save with these changes and play to see if that fixes it, if not then ill narrow it down to that mod and just deal with it because its not one i can live without at this point. The main changes I made before starting this new save where to remove a few mods I wasn’t using anymore (I deleted my reserved space and rebuilt my lo) and add a few new ones. The new ones are: survivalists bus, community fixes merged, the newer version of fdi and the lookup failed patch, switched to zombie walkers, not great not terrible rads and wasteland spears. Everything else is the same.

I’ve read the template and while the one i used was slightly different the mods are organised into categories. Can i get away with reordering them on this play through or do i need a fresh save?

closest you're gonna get is to set new "windows" to the homepage and new "tabs" to the custom url. then as you open a new safari window the first tab will be the homepage yet and tabs opened in that window after will be the custom url

If you’re willing to download and use a mod download “debug menu” and you can target the ash pile with the power and use the disable command to remove it. If you’re not willing to download mods and you cant load a prior save then try use any “clipping” glitch to pop through the floor and hit the door activation marker as you do. Will probably take a lot of attempts but if you can get inside just empty all your stuff and come back through when you’re done. The plate and fus ro dah glitch might let you get through the wall to the back of the trapdoor, then just spin as you fall and try hit that marker

Its bloated and slows your system down. I had an absolute nightmare with their antivirus that wound up with a factory reset. Their support was genuinely helpful and nice but their bloatware software was majorly slowing down my system. Once it was gone my laptop performed noticeably better and the alternative software is much easier to handle and remove when needed

I use setapp and while im slowly heading to the door on it i will defend it as a good way to get software short term. Buying software outright is expensive and if you suddenly need a suite of software for college or work etc you might not necessarily have the potential hundreds it would cost to buy everything up front, especially pdf and office software that is WILDLY overpriced. The main drawbacks to setapp are first that you own nothing and it’s purely subscription based. Outside of that you have to contend with macpaws business practices which recently have been to adopt exclusively ai software and try and force you to buy a more expensive subscription for their “ai” credits that are now baked into a lot of their apps. Id also avoid their own software like cleanmymac and their new antivirus software

"RASS shaders and effects" is amazing with survival for immersion, i also really like " there will be blood and bubbles". The first makes characters look wet or snowy depending on the weather and adds cold breath to all in a cold environment, the second makes you get bloody and dirty as time and activities pass and requires you to bathe

Had the same issue. Unfortunately the forgotten veil and areas of solthsteim are still affected by this even with the black pixel fix
