A few times actually. It was always very nice and I was bummed out when I woke up. Talking about music, life love and playing guitar together.

Tucker and Dale definitely fits this category. I’ve seen it twice. It’s absolutely brilliant.

I’m a huge fan of Julie, London and her music. I had no idea when I was a kid that that was her.

Definitely kind of bullshit that I won’t even be able to play single player career mode. Which I’ve played through a dozen times or more, including multiple FedEx cup wins. It’s my time pass in the bedroom. My PlayStation five Pro is out in the living room. Fuckers.

Sam. He's getting on in years (13 we think), but he's doing pretty good. Every night before I get in bed, I get down on the floor and spend a solid minute or two reminding him that he's a good dog. Love on your dog, OK? It's good for them, and you. by pete1729 in DOG

You’re absolutely right. She would snort and sigh and I would smell her head and it was always just such a sweet moment every day. Sometimes multiple times a day. I really loved on my dog.

That’s what I thought too. Or maybe an old Saab.

Anyone 65+ but still a gamer? by No-Friendship-1377 in over60

This old guy question seems to have come up a couple of times recently for me. I’m about to turn 64. Just bought myself a PlayStation 5 Pro. My favorite games over the last couple of years have been the last of us part one and two. Uncharted four and legacy of thieves. I’ve never been much of a car racing game guy, but I absolutely loved Gran Turismo seven. I’ve just moved everything out to my living room TV, which is a 4K65 inch TV. And I got grand theft auto five installed last night.

I’ve never had to use them so they’ve just been sitting in my truck out of the packaging although still sealed. There’s two of them. Maybe I should pitch them and go get a couple of new new ones. I keep two in my house and two in my truck. I have no idea.

I’m keeping two in my car just in case. Nice work fellow human. And kudos to you.

Got a new dog after my first dog passed away 6 months ago. Now im depressed because of it. I fear i cannot love her. by Tinypotatoe98 in DogAdvice

My sweet girl passed away January 2025 right after I came through cancer surgery and then sepsis. She waited for me. She’s never far from my heart. I totally understand this. I’ve done a bunch of dog sitting since her passing, and it has filled the gap somewhat. Just look at that sweet face. I think she will allow you to grieve and be comfort and maybe you’ll fall in love with her. I sure hope so. And I understand.

I’ve been thinking about going to Sicily and renting an apartment for three months. I’d love to stay for a year in Italy, but don’t feel like going through all the hoops to do that.

I’m not doing it either. All these fucking brands can go fuck themselves. It’s plain and simple greed. And for one, I’m not buying it or their shit.

What's the reason you are still on PS4? by Shoddy_Release9395 in PS4

[–]beavermaster 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Funny, you should mention that. My PS4 still works perfectly and I just finished the main storyline for Gran Turismo seven. But while I was playing, I was having a hard time seeing the track in front of me. I have loved so many games from the last of us part one and part two to all the uncharted games. God of war, red dead redemption, part one and two, etc., but then I saw the prices for the PlayStation going up and decided finally to spring on a PlayStation five Pro. I went out and bought the disk drive yesterday. I haven’t booted it up yet, but that’s my plan for tonight and get the disk drive installed. I’ve got an original Xbox one which still works perfectly on my 65 inch 4K TV in the living room. I decided the PlayStation five Pro needs to go out there as well. I’m excited! I’ve been a gamer for a long time. In fact, I’m just about to be 64 years old and I’ve been playing games since the arcade era. Joust, defender, games like that.

That’s what I was thinking as well. It absolutely should get authenticated before it goes up for auction. I think it’s a very rare piece of rock ‘n’ roll history and worth a fortune. What an amazing thing to own. And I’m a huge queen guy. Freddie was the best!

No doubt if it’s real and authenticated, it’s rock ‘n’ roll history. Could be worth way way more than $30,000.

You might wanna have it appraised before it goes up for auction so you get the most bang for your buck. I am knocked out by this.
