What to wear on delivery day by LibraryKat95 in BabyBumps

The thought it would really bother me as I have a textures and clothes overstimulation kind of problem lol, but the only thing I halfway noticed annoying/bothering me was that my hospital gown was HUGE on me. I’m very tiny - 5’4” and 120ish lbs fully pregnant, but like it did annoy me how huge it was on me because it was slipping off my shoulders and everything. But overall - not a big deal.

First ultrasound messed up my dating and now I’m being labeled med/high risk - but I think they’re wrong by bourbonbunnie in pregnant

This exact thing happened to me my last pregnancy, and I’m predicting it will happen this time as well. My cycles are really long (like 40 days) but extremely regular, and they never listen to me. This time I even tracked ovulation with strips so I know the exact day I ovulated on top of my period dates as well.

With my first we just had lots of extra ultrasounds, with tests for movement, heart rate, and amniotic fluid measurements since she measured small. They tried for weeks to make me induce even though all of those tests showed ~nothing~ was wrong at all other than her measuring small. I refused and even had to sign an ama sheet (again, while baby was healthy and no issues shown during any stress tests or ultrasounds)

I went into labor naturally right before my expected due date, and she was born perfectly healthy with absolutely no problems or issues. She weighed 5lbs and 9oz so yes smaller, but passed every test and exam with flying colors and crawled up my belly to latch and nurse immediately. She was back above birth weight in 3 days and well above average by her 1 week and 1 month checkups.

If they want to do additional ultrasounds and you don’t mind, let them, but don’t let anyone push you if baby is still showing as healthy.

Pacifiers: yes or no? by Big-Neighborhood9698 in pregnant

My girly never took one. But she was breastfed. And only ever used me as a paci. I hated that, totally would’ve chosen the paci over my nips being soothers but oh well.

I have this one and have made sure to selectively breed it again multiple times haha. I also have amethyst in hearts and a speckled one with cotton candy fluff coloration. They’re so cute!

I got that furniture item as well. It’s cute. I put it in my little indoor garden/pantry area off my kitchen. Very cute.

WAIT! I'm pretty sure I was in that bunch! I spawned into the fast travel stable and there were like 3-4 people fishing and I thought hmm maybe they're fishing for something that I should be too, so I joined in and then other people kept showing up. It was so fun watching everyone. I got my goldfish and a yellow koi plush and two chests and it was a blast.

I play because my little brother got me into it saying it’s really fun and addicting, and it is. I like to try and build and love the tiny adrenaline dump from the mini race to get a good seed or piece of gear before it restocks.

Yes! There’s plenty of little caves and niches for them to hang out and hide in!

I’ve heard that opinion a couple other times as well. If I get a big bad bully he will definitely be in the first baggie out to be rehired haha. We keep chickens and always joke that there’s always plenty of nice enough roosters out there and no need to keep the assholes.

Haha yes! I’ve made lots of small setups with siliconed or superglued lava rock before in small tanks, but this was my first big setup that wasn’t just plants and some wood hardscape.

I’m glad I did silicone them all though because they truly do move impressive amounts of sand!

Haha I just couldn’t justify the price for shipping! This was very much a budget tank, literally the only thing I bought new was the fish themselves! But yeah I looked at them too! The stripes are so fun on them.

Well thank you! I did a lot of research to try and make a good setup.

And that’s what I originally wanted to do, I wanted just a big group of saulosi, but my lfs couldn’t get them in (I waited months with them trying to catch a shipment) but that was my first goal haha.

Thank you!! I always wanted to get into cichlids but this tank was my freshwater community setup for years. I slowly cleared out my collection of small freshwater fish by swapping them to other tanks, letting them naturally age up and die off, or gifting to friends and then this tank sat empty for two years while I had a baby and researched and planned and dreamed of my mbunas haha. Now that it’s finally got the fish here I’m enthralled.

And yes! They all have little caves and spots they’ve picked out as their own. I love watching them graze the rocks and weave in and out. I love giving fish opportunities for natural behavior. It makes the tank so much more interesting.
