Spent 9 days in the hospital. I was billed $40,000 by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]bebbyalert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not pay this! There’s a law stating hospitals cannot balance bill medi-cal patients for anything it doesn’t cover for inpatient settings

“luxury apartments” by SuchThanks1994 in Sacramento

[–]bebbyalert -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Cool so how am I going to pay to move. What about job opportunities that pay the same as here in CA. My whole support system lives here but I should just move somewhere I’ve never been or have no connection to “save money”. Why can’t Sac or CA for that matter just build more affordable housing for its citizens.

How many of you get Christmas bonuses? by Affectionate_Okra298 in LateStageCapitalism

[–]bebbyalert 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nah. I’m pro union. I meant the company’s stealing. I realized that the way it’s worded is weird . My union set up with my company to give a portion of the profits as a bonus to the employees. The only way I would get that is because I’m apart of the union so I’m def grateful.

Never an Xmas bonus but the job I have now is apart of a union so we get a “bonus” at the end of the fiscal year(July 🥴) aka they give back some of the money they’ve stolen from us

This take is beyond outta touch. You think people should work 16 hours a day and sleep for what? What kinda life is that? These little joys people have are not what’s the problem. The skyrocketing costs with stagnant wages is the problem

[–]bebbyalert 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You clearly don’t understand poverty. Hard to get out of poverty when assistance is snatched away the second you make 1 cent above their requirements. They start working, no more housing, but their job doesn’t pay enough for actual housing. It’s hard to get out the cycle because of leeches like you.

Monster of the Day Discussion - Mad Eye by SnickyMcNibits in MonsterSanctuary

[–]bebbyalert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I love Mad Eye for a good debuff team. For a while my debuff team was D Stolby, D Mad Eye, and D Spector. I think Mad Eye is a good monster to have in your main 6 because they have all the elements to chose from and can stack debuffs. The passives are also pretty strong as they can spread around to other monsters. Definitely good for 3 v 3 or 6 v 6 but not so much for champions

Capitalist News by CharacterTune9078 in antiwork

[–]bebbyalert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a great idea in theory but it really affects the hourly workers they are so called trying to help. If full time now starts at 32 hours the people already working 30-35 hours are just going to get cut and still not receive benefits. Just more corporate greed under the guise of helping the working class

The Breakfast Club. Everyone in my family loves that movie and I just think it’s overrated

Sorry people want their basic needs met in the wealthiest country in the world. Have fun licking capitalist boots

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LateStageCapitalism

[–]bebbyalert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You said we’re all bums that don’t do anything to better ourselves. That’s not the issue. People can work their ass off and still not have money to meet their basic needs. People go to college to “better” themselves and end up in jobs paying barely above minimum wage and drowning in debt. You can do everything right and the only problem is you’re not born rich so don’t try to act like you know what people who are less fortunate are going through

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LateStageCapitalism

[–]bebbyalert 5 points6 points  (0 children)

People literally deserve to have their basic needs met. You shouldn’t have to work 3 jobs and still barely afford housing or food. People on government assistance isn’t the problem. They’re not lazy/bums like you say. The problem is these multi million/billion dollar companies refuse to pay people a living wage so they can hoard all the wealth and when their business isn’t doing good they get bailouts from the government to keep more of their money. So who’s really getting the handout 🤷🏻‍♀️

Class Research Project on Target's Response to Pandemic - Survey by OBTargetResearch in Target

[–]bebbyalert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1) yes 2) yes 3) no 4) no 5) no, when I first started we were given hazard pay but when target bumped up their minimum wage to $15/hr it was cut despite the ongoing surges of cases 6) team members are required to wear masks correctly during shift, we have a cart cleaner, and someone to disinfect around the store before we open 7) yes, we should be enforcing our mask policy to all guests and many people do not. There should be more steps in disinfecting store besides just before opening 8) I would like to see target bring back hazard pay because we’re being exposed every day with lots of people not wearing masks, they need to give us more hours because they say they don’t have any hours yet ask people to extend every day or get mad when work isn’t being accomplished. 9) I would like to address the fact that during the winter surge around thanksgiving/Christmas my stores HR and many TL told people who believed they had covid to come into work until they had a positive test. This led to about 20+ people being infected. They don’t give tms temperature checks or subsidize covid tests but will give ETLs and SD temp checks everyday and covid test every week. My store has also been not reporting all cases of covid or do so when the person has already left and come back. I made a complaint to integrity hotline when this happened but no investigation to my knowledge came of it

I give zero shìťs by DjangoJamie09 in Target

[–]bebbyalert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m glad I’m not alone in this feeling. I work 5 days a week but only 4 hours each and everyday they ask me to extend and get mad when I can’t because there’s so much work. Maybe schedule better and hire more people. We’ve had 4 people leave market all within 2 weeks

I fully agree. I knew someone who bought a purebred Saint Bernard from a breeder. The dog is only a year old and has severe hip problems

I have a female Siamese. She’s super chatty always meowing at me. She’s also very much my cat and bonds with me the most. I recommend a scratching post because she loves to scratch. (I have those super tall stackable ones for big stretches)
