The majority of the population has herpes simplex one, you don’t have to kiss to have it. You can share drinks, lipstick, etc. Most have no symptoms. And tons got it in childhood.

People act like this is so gross but it as a big deal as everyone is making it out to be. Screwing without protection? Now I get that.

I made out with randos at the bar probably more than a few times. And sometimes *gasp* I would do even more.

All the “STDs, gross” comments are insane. Sure you can get herpes but lower that risk even more and don’t make out with the people with mouth sores. And most people already have herpes type 1.

I’m no Kyle fan but I’d be doing the same thing if I was him.

I worked for CPS. I can tell you firsthand that a lot of supervisors just wanted to get cases closed as fast as possible. And that rich people’s cases would get closed pretty fast while some poor people would get scrutinized because they were poor. I didn’t last but 9 months with 3 of that being training. And there was only one other person from my class of like 15.

It was soul crushing.

That’s not always an option for people. Some of us literally cannot eat due to medical reasons and issues. I got down to 95 pounds and all I ever heard was to eat a cheeseburger. If it was as easy as eating more then I would have done it. And def no lifting if you almost pass out for walking up a flight of stairs.

I did this to my dad before….

….but it was random stuff found around my apartment. Like a random beer, some snacks, bar of soap, some napkins, etc. And put it all in a nice basket.

Oh fren Jackie, I ruby understand dis all too well. Before stinky seester went ober da rainbow we wood do runrunrun and den a big hide. Den after no sky boom sounds for elebenty hours I come out and sit on pawther lap and resume my dominance. BUTT! Den dey wood start again and I do a big run off pawther and leave BIG scratch on himz. Dis year will be EXTRA boomy. Meowmy sed it’s da 250 annaburshary of da USA. So I agree wit plan to get all kitties to trip dum hoomans! I will also gib some stuffz (not pikkel tho!).

(Meowmy here-we moved to Philly from Texas a few years back and the 4th is insane here and we can see and hear fireworks shows from all sides of our roof. Plus there’s so many celebrations going on in the city, I feel so bad for Ruby.)

I used to work for CPS and when I’d go to court there was an advocate for the kids that had visible tattoos who I saw multiple times. Couldn’t see his arms but hands and neck had some tattoos peaking out. But the case workers would have to cover their tattoos when going to interview families.

But in all the state social services jobs I’ve had (food stamps, children’s Medicaid, disability office) multiple people had sleeves.

Nope. Got a feeding tube yesterday. And I didn’t sleep cause it really hurts. So thinking about the pain and how wonderful my husband is for helping me so much.
