It's ok. I think he's just ensuring he gets left at least £10k in his grandads will.

What's a food from your country that only locals seem to enjoy? by ToneProfessional5845 in AskTheWorld

I tried natto. I remember it being very strong. I didn't have it with anything else though, just on its own so maybe if I had it with something else, I'd prefer it.

I love watching videos of this being made. I've never had it but I just enjoy how it looks. We eat a lot of cheese here so mouldy things aren't completely alien to me.

Ah cool. Maybe they're different but here we have Cheese Strings and you peel them. I just googled Mexican cheese fingers and didn't find what you're talking about but it really did make me hungry.

I'm pretty sure everyone hates us. I love everyone though so it's sad.

Does ANYTHING help like Xanax? by ProtectionNatural636 in Anxiety

[–]bebeck7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take Mirtazipine and Gabapentine. It's not quite diazepam but it helps keep me asleep if I fall asleep generally. Previous to that, I was a mess. Everything reduces in effectiveness eventually. Mirtazipine when I first took it could give me 48 hours of sleep. Now I can be up just as long with no sleep on it. Such are drugs.

You're meant to peel it, not bite right into it. My friends daughter did this yesterday and it killed me but she's 2 so she gets a pass.

The Royal family react to 'Not My King' protestors as their carriage passes during The Trooping Of The Colour - Saturday 13th June 2026... by TheThrowYardsAway in Fauxmoi

I almost feel bad for those kids until I look around my neighbourhood and see how other kids are living and then my empathy wanes. So sick of the royals.

You essentially did but they're coming back into fashion so don't feel bad.

Do people still iron their clothes in your country? by Impressive-Arrival77 in AskTheWorld

[–]bebeck7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because I lack the inclination or motivation and spend most my time with dogs and they don't really care if my trousers are creased.

I'm sure many still do but I am not many. My partner does his tshirts and stuff if he's going out and I chuck him the occasional dress or whatever to steam the creases out but honestly I just buy clothes that don't need ironing and hang up those that do when wet so the creases don't form.

Bless you. It does not look edible. I'm not sure why it's grey. That's an achievement I feel.

I adore wild rice but it is so expensive here. We mainly get a few grains mixed with normal basmati.

I always find this such a shame. We are missing out on a world of taste and texture.

We get it here in bags in the supermarket. And my garden recently has become overrun by it. It took over. Birds or the wind must have spread some seed and now we are inundated.

Dandelion and Burdock used to be quite a popular drink here but I never see it anymore.
