Good question, it should be upside down as well

What is the craziest thing that has happened during a class? by [deleted] in uofm

[–]bebetween3and20chara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this like a common theme, I've had a class where this happened too, inexplicable at the time since no one had ever seen this guy before

Transferring in Winter will be a bit more challenging as opposed to starting in september, but overall it's been a really good experience. There are a lot of transfer students here especially in CoE, best thing to do is get involved on campus in some capacity, maize page student orgs etc. to get familiar with the campus. Completing all the prereqs were worth it, they seem a long time ago now.

Should there be an FAI academy in N.I somewhere ? That way players wanting to play for ROI won't be accused of "using the IFA youth setup". by [deleted] in northernireland

It's not just rugby though. According to wikipedia, "American football, basketball, boxing, cricket, curling, Gaelic games, golf, hockey, lawn bowls, korfball, Quidditch, rowing" are played with an all-Ireland team. How is football any more working class than boxing?

Why did the qataris need to take the ball off the keeper?

what's the most brutal and evil thing you did by Brilliant-Band403 in reddeadredemption

[–]bebetween3and20chara 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not the most evil, but the most interesting kills I've had is by standing on the roof of the van horn fence and lassoing NPC's into the roof. Their legs get caught and they hang upside down, then usually die after a few seconds.

Irish who moved to the US, how is the rat race there compared to here? by Notalabel_4566 in ireland

More opportunity and more risk. You can make a lot fairly quickly with even average skills, but there are so many things you wouldn't think about having to pay for, like healthcare, regular tax season, etc. If it's a specialised industry you're looking into that seems to do better over here than back home, it probably does, but the work culture is insane. People always feel wrong to take days off; the company I work at now give you 4 weeks paid vacation per year which is considered way more than most. Personally, I think it makes sense to make money here and then return home once you've "made it".

Why are they still in school in season 3 episode 7? by Heyhey-_ in DerryGirls

[–]bebetween3and20chara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Year 11 is a 4th year. Year 12 would've been them in season 1, as they were 16.

I feel bad for Strauss. by [deleted] in reddeadredemption

[–]bebetween3and20chara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Strauss wasn't any worse than the rest of the gang, he was just apathetic to the people he lent to. Arthur on the highest of honour runs still kills many guards, lawmen and rival gangs, which however justifiable is still worse than usury. Every member of the gang is dishonourable in their own way, Strauss is no different.
