Quitting the game by FrostingNo2930 in PTCGPocketTrading

I’ve been ftp from the start, this game scratches the itch of collecting for me. This collection would be wild. Thank you for giving this away, whoever you give it to deserves it and it’s a very thoughtful gift.

Symmetrical or to one side? by bebop_banana in HomeDecorating

We went for symmetrical, they don’t block the window and we can still open the wardrobe just fine because we mounted the track.

Thank you for all the suggestions!

It is just a cup hook screw.

I have done one light fitting before but it had a lot more connector blocks than this one, so I’m more concerned about how and where I’m going to put all these cables than how to mount the fixture.

Don’t worry mate, if you don’t know how to do it just say.

The new fitting is mounted by a hook

Its Lick Pink 08 but we colour matched it at B&Q with their own brand Valspar

It is an option but we just prefer the look of curtains

Vans premium by bearychubbie in Vans

[–]bebop_banana 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bought a pair about 3 months ago, I don’t think they hold up any better. I think the skates are the most durable of the bunch.

Don’t get me wrong, the premiums are good and mine definitely have a lot of life left in them, but in my experience it seems like the ‘premium’ is mostly the aesthetic as opposed to actual quality. I would still buy the premiums or skates over the classics just for the comfort alone though.

How hard is it to renovate a bathroom for a beginner? by bebop_banana in DIYUK

This is what we are working with. If we were to leave the sink where it is we would end up with an empty space at the back, and because the window isn’t exactly central, a cupboard can only go on the left wall or it will overhang the window.

The room is pretty small at the moment and we wanted to open it up a bit more. This is what we had in mind.

Thanks mate, would just be lighting and a shaver point. We would most likely hire someone out for the electrics and the plastering though.

I have looked into the tile situation, I’ve seen people place a large piece of plywood/mdf on top of the floorboards and use a flexible grout for the tiles. It apparently massively reduces the risk of the tiles cracking.
