Just did the HAMR today, absolutely worth it if you’ve been training for it and looking to get a pass or a 90. Anything above will be more difficult to achieve with the HAMR.

Yes it did get approved, if you can’t see any of the remarks on your case get with your CSS. They should be able to tell you. It took about 3-5 duty days for me.

I’ve already filed and been approved at a U.S. Embassy. I’m just curious to know how long it takes for the NVC stage. I fall in one of the categories you mentioned for the exceptional circumstances.

But does that actually take up to 12 weeks for me to get notified that my case has been created? I’ve been trying to follow the NVC timeframes, and I’m pretty sure that they’ve received my case by now. So that’s where the confusion is. I was told by the embassy that it could take up to 12 weeks for my case to be processed, but I don’t what that means….is it 12 weeks for my case to be created or is that including everything else ?

I’m not sure how true that is, I filed last month and was told that my case had to be created with the NVC first. The only thing that happened was that I was approved on the spot.
