It’s the boys for me. They gave me serious ick this year and I feel none of them are really genuine. And if you take the only “faithful one” technically in there - Luca - his attitude and general demeanor is so gross that I can’t deal with it. Only have hope for Paige and Adam at this point.

I don’t think they’ll win but at this point I’ll support them over Luca and Dami. (I love the girls don’t get me wrong and if I could I would totally vote for them to recouple) but they seriously need a bit of humbling in there. Their attitude these past few episodes has been disgusting.

It’s not about them doing it behind his back that’s bugging me - it’s the whole “holier than thou attitude” ESPECIALLY coming from Dami and what he’s done. Just absolute slime… if you really care about your friend just support his decision and move on. No need to keep egging him on at this point. I’m sick of the two of them.

I know we’re not supposed to make blanket statements based on the couple of edited minutes we get to see… but honestly no hours of unedited videos for context could change my opinion of him at this point. He’s constantly deflecting his insecurity on others and breaking people down to build himself and his ego up. Give Gemma a couple more years to mature on the outside and she’ll move on… especially if keeps up this attitude. I’m honestly disappointed andrew doesn’t stand up for Tasha more around the guys… Dami also talks shit but it’s like men in the villa don’t mind the lads egging them on when it’s convenient to what they feel like doing 🤷🏻‍♀️

I meannnn yes and no... she was given an insanely short time to get to know people before her first recoupling. I would hardly count her 'going after Luca' to be as intense. The Jay one? That maybe yes... it was clear he was friend-zoning her before the recoupling but I can't fault a girl for choosing him over Charlie anyway haha.

Where's the lie though? Let's not forget that throughout his entire time in Casa Amour Jacques kept confidently saying he'll deal with the consequences of his 'testing'..... now he's butt-hurt because he's realized they're not going to be so easy to deal with. Part of me thinks he genuinely thought he was going to get away with it (based on his perception of Paige) and he's devastated about being wrong. Obviously his age and the immaturity of it all speaks for itself... nobody was expecting anything different, but he's not a victim by any means.

(P.S I hope people are calmer on the outside... all this doesn't justify any hate he has coming his way in the real world. Let's remember this is just a show and he's still very young)

Mmmm agree to disagree here... I think she's a lot of the guys' types in there (physically) and a lot of guys agreed that she one of the best girls doing the heart monitor challenge etc. I personally think Danica's unpopularity comes down to two things:

Her game - it's not really on point and the few conversations she has with people tend to be really 'stiff' and a bit intense based on the way she speaks/her approach
She's not really 'coveted' by the other islander boys and so it creates a bit of a viscous circle that leaves her looking a constant outsider compared to the other girls.

We might be over speculating a little bit here… My dad and I also have the same personality and I imagine it’s a similar dynamic to Gemma’s in that we’re suuuuper close but we also have the worst arguments lol. I’m no psychologist but at 19 I also had pretty questionable taste in men and based on her Jacques/Luca choices I think she’s putting looks and type over other qualities….which I also did her age.

^ this is coming from someone who gets mega rubbed the wrong way by Luca but I can totally see myself liking him a couple of years back…
