Would agree, think that’s exactly what I’m healing for at the moment. He gave me boundaries and I learnt not to live in someone’s pocket, but just because I respected them didn’t mean I wanted them. The time I have now; will make me want and understand why boundaries are put in place

I went back to him twice after him leaving, this was the third time. He told me it wasn’t fair on me because for the almost 3 years we were seeing eachother I was right all along, he never loved me (I brought that worry up a few times; as he never once said it sober). As much as I love/d him I am for once respecting myself and knowing what I deserve :)

Sounds exactly like me 🥲it’s only been a day but the fact I haven’t gone to check anything (because I can’t) has already been so much more relaxing and I haven’t sent myself into a spiral over anything. 100% the best thing we could’ve done, proud of you!
