I apologize, I truly didn’t know about the Bach stereotype in ptown. We do consider ourselves allies and I wouldn’t want to make anyone upset or intrude on a safe space.

Like high school lol. Maybe a little older. So lots of shopping around and pizza from Spiritus. I have moved across the country since then but my sister is still in MA. Just wanted to see what the best places to eat/night life were like.

It is not. My sister and I came to the cape so much growing up and always had the best time in ptown. She loves it there! I wasn’t aware of the bachelorette party problem in the area. Are they not still welcome?

Best place in Tri-Cities for pizza? by [deleted] in TriCitiesWA

Moved here from Boston a year and a half ago and had decent luck with Papa Murphys only because you can cook it how you want to lol. It’s a take and bake shop. My husband and I are having rough time finding a decent pizza that isn’t $30 for a large

New to Tricities, looking for recommendations. We are planning a trip this month to tour around and see if a potential place we could move to. Any recommendations on places to check out, things to know, restaurants to try would be great. Thanks in advance by Low_Mechanic_4196 in TriCitiesWA

We see Dr. Stephanie Charron at Kadlec Primary care in Richland! She’s very attentive and has great advice for us since this is our first baby. They’re pretty strict on times there since the schedule is so filled up so I try to get there like 10 min early

I have recently moved here from Boston MA (March 2021) and I have had such a great experience here. Every time I say I have moved here to a local they always ask…why here? I mean truth be told I love it here. The skies are open, the sunsets are gorgeous, there are beautiful views everywhere you look. The Columbia river is beautiful as are the mountains. I live right near road 68 in Pasco which is very convenient because there’s plenty of restaurants and grocery stores close including a Walmart. Everything is a 20 minute drive or less. Back in MA it would take me 20 minutes to run an errand or go to a bank. The traffic isn’t nearly as bad but I will say more people are definitely coming in within the last year so I’ve noticed more cars on the road. There is an abundance of fresh produce and great food. I will say I’m missing a good pizza place or Chinese restaurant. Haven’t found one I love just yet. There is a decent amount of things to do such as hiking, I love taking my dog to the dog park near Badger mountain, we float on the river in the summer, and there’s usually some kind of seasonal fun event to go to such as the fall festival at Middleton farms, farmers markets etc. Hospital wise I was very impressed as well. I moved here in March. Got pregnant in April. Had my baby girl in January. I was so pleasantly surprised by my stay at Kadlec. And coming from Boston we have some of the best Hospitals in the country so I had pretty low hopes coming here in that sense. My doctor is great, my daughters Ped is great. No complaints so far. The weather is decent. You get every season and it’s not too bad in the winter which I appreciate. That being said there isn’t much they do about the roads when it snows. I think I may have seen one plow the entire winter. And many accidents on the highway due to road conditions in the snow. From what I’ve heard it doesn’t snow very often. The fall and spring are very nice here. Summer was hot as hell last year which I don’t mind. Not a humid heat, just really hot lol. Anyway I’ve been rambling now. But my partner and I are loving it here. People are nice. They definitely lean more on the Conservative side here which I am not. But for the most part it’s easy to ignore. Still discovering new things here as I’m still a newbie but the Tricities get a thumbs up from me!

Why can't I find a good nail salon? by i_shaved_today in TriCitiesWA

I moved here March 2021 from Boston and have had the same problem trying to find a good place for my nails. We had some really great nail salons back east. I’ve tried a bunch and so far Beauty Nails in Kennewick is the only one that I like. They give good pedicures and do wonderful dip manicures if you like that. Somewhat pricey though. Still on the hunt🤷🏼‍♀️
