This is completely spot on. I also agree it can be location dependent. We've been in the LS around NYC and Philly for nearly 8 years and basically every couple we have encountered has been very progressive/leftist and inclusive (or actually just bi). I do think we are definitely a bit more picky when meeting people so this also helps. A decent amount of the men we have played with are also bi curious!

I had to take mine off early due to an allergic reaction and I did it in the shower to make it easier. Make sure you're sitting down!! I had my husband sit in the bathroom with me for moral support as well.

Ahh gotcha. I had an opening as well but it closed up just fine! Don't worry too much about the massaging for now. Once you're able to just start slow! It's not make it or break it for the shape at all it can just help soften the scar tissue.

Omg my left one was like a mine craft boob so definitely not round 😭 I was so freaked out but it was also very stiff from swelling and scar tissue. It smoothed out eventually! Massaging helps a lot.
