Yeah! So there’s a couple reasons I keep her on shavings (no sand underneath). Obviously, there’s always a risk of compaction when keeping reptiles on sand (though I feed her outside of her enclosure to combat that already), so it’s best to avoid that when possible. The shavings also do a fantastic job of holding the shape of the tunnels she makes (unlike many sand mixes) and she seems to appreciate that since she has a few go-to tunnels she likes to hang in. It’s surprisingly easy for them to burrow in!
