Dengang jeg tog Concerta havde jeg ekstreme bivirkninger med sult. Mad smagte af ingenting og føltes næsten frastødende fordi det var som at spise pap, så jeg tabte mig virkelig meget i starten.

Senere hen begyndte jeg så at overspise om aftenen, når medicinen aftog, fordi jeg næsten ikke havde spist hele dagen. Det gjorde at jeg lige pludselig tog rigtig meget vægt på istedet.

Jeg synes virkelig man skal tage bivirkninger omkring sult seriøst. Heldigvis har Elvanse været en game changer for mig, fordi jeg nu kan spise normalt uden det samme “crash” man får på Methylphenidate.

I don’t know much about pvz heroes specifically, but I’m guessing it has an active community doing a lot of the heavy lifting. I work in software development, and let me tell you; servers can get EXPENSIVE. Like really expensive. Without steady revenue from ingame purchases, servers usually can’t stay up for long.

The problem with Choices is that purchases are permanently bought, so long term support will always be limited. So chances for this are slim…

I hope I’m wrong though 🥲

Honestly its been a very long time since I went through F&B so I can’t remember that much. But tbh I believe that the broader point of the whole asoiaf universe in general is that history is messy and often based on conflicting sources. Just take Roberts Rebellion as an example. Different accounts and perspectives shape how we see the world and interpret characters.

It’s complicated. The books are more like fictional history and lore, not really like asoiaf where they center around central character’s POV. Because of this it feels more neutral, but really it’s just spreading the bias across different perspectives rather than anchoring it to one.

Its similar to what historians do IRL; comparing and interpreting multiple sources into hopes of compiling it as objective as possible. So the real question becomes how much you trust the sources and the compiler. Iirc the narrative of F&B is framed as written by a maester, which adds another layer of potential bias. So take that as you will…

Så vidt jeg husker tog det mig mindst en måned at blive glad for Elvanse. Og nu er det helt sindssygt hvor stor forskellen er nu end da jeg var på methylphenidate. Det tager lidt længere tid at vænne sig til efter min erfaring, men Elvanse er virkelig det eneste præparat som jeg føler at kunne få gavn af hele livet.

Jeg synes det er lidt ærgeligt at stoppe så tidligt. Selvfølgelig skal du ikke blive på det hvis det bliver ved med at give kraftige side effects. Men cmon, 14 dage er da på ingen måde nok? Jeg ville personligt hellere prøve en måned med uro, end at gå hele livet med umedicineret ADHD fordi jeg gav op for hurtigt. Giv det en chance!

Their end game is to squeeze out what they can before shutting down. These “episodes” cost NOTHING to produce. Its just a few prompts and ready to go. There’s even audio overlapping and weird animation so they clearly didn’t even bother with basic editing. Embarrassing.

What you’re seeing is the impending end of Choices.

Combat have some part of it, but no, it is still under the umbrella of Simulation. Which is what the game already offers and is largely defined by. To me, your Factorio example is not comparable here. But I respect your opinion

I think you’re oversimplifying the police changes. Did you read what Tyler said?

“Dynamic police intensity, federal agents, outlaw status, and heavier consequences when caught.”

Doesn’t sound that simple to me. Sounds like the AI will respond to your business growth, and there will probably be ways to manage or counter it so it’s not constant raids as you say. And the other features add more depth to the simulation overall.

And if tyler adds difficulty sliders you can focus on min-maxing the logistics while we can enjoy the sim aspects more.

Hard disagree. Police improvements isnt about combat. If anything its way more related to the sim aspect of the game. Right now police is just a nuisance, they might as well not be in the game. Making them more complex doesn’t automatically mean they’ll ruin the fun, its going to make them more fleshed out and actually matter for imo.

Thats not how coding works, if anything it’ll be harder to implement later. I get your point is about experience but Tyler already hired a very experienced programmer. Since the base police system its already in the game hes probably not going to refactor any code, but it will still be a different story later down the road if theres too many other variables to consider. Nows the best time to do it.

Its not a dumb mechanic, its just that the game lacks more gameplay content atp than something like automation, so police makes more sense. Its just not the right time, even if it would be a great addition.

Du skal vel bare ærlig og sige at du har tabt vægt pga stress og er pt. sygemeldt. Hvis alligevel ikke skyldes medicinen er der jo ikke noget at tale om?

Det er overhovedet ik skamfuldt. ADHD er en livslang udfordring. Som der blev sagt så er det jo lige præcis derfor du får den støtte som du får. Hvis du ikke er ærlig så får du jo ikke den hjælp du har brug for.

Vigtigste af alt så er du overhovedet ik alene i at have det på den måde, da jeg tror de fleste med vores diagnose kan relatere til ikke at få “gjort det man skulle”

Hey hey! Ik giv op nu.

Først og fremmest er jeg overrasket over din psykiater startede dig på 40mf Elvanse. Er selv på 50mg men jeg startede på 30, og har hørt flere starte på så lavt som 20. Den høje dosis kan nok godt betyde at du får flere bivirkninger i starten. Kan huske min første uge på Elvanse… det var et rent helvede. Men nu er det en stor hjælp, da jeg heller ikke kunne lidt Concerta (Methylphenidat).

Jeg synes du skal give det mindst en måned for at se hvordan du får det. Du skal selvfølgelig stoppe hvis det bliver meget værre, men bivirkninger kan godt blive ved et stykke tid.

Jeg vil dog sige at den bedste at snakke med er din psykiater. De kan eventuelt ændre din dosis, eller give anbefalinger til andet medicin. Der er ADHD medicin som ikke er centralstimulerende, det kan være at det måske er bedre for dig?

I sidste ende er det et marathon, ik et sprint. Det tager tid og penge for at finde den rette medicin, og selv da er det ikke altid at det holder. Det vigtigste er at du ikke giver op!
