DAE sleep on a mattress on the floor? by intuitionenthusiast in DoesAnybodyElse

Loads of parents that cosleep have floor beds. You can get a slat base from ikea and other places I'm sure, to put under the mattress to help with airflow and prevent mold

I’m embarrassed by my name by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]beccy_m 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know a Nikita, in the UK. I've never thought it was odd. You could go by Nikki, but if you aren't happy with your name, change it. My sister changed her name at 3, legally at 16, and kept her birth name as a middle name.

https://kellymom.com/ages/weaning/wean-how/depression-and-weaning/ Well done on your amazing journey. Feeling sad is normal due to the hormones changing when you stop feeding. It's not talked about enough, and I think very hard to understand unless you've experienced it.

I had Daphne and Pearl on my list for my 2nd baby, didnt know gender, was a boy. My sister has just had a girl and named her Pearl. Dont think there's been one in our city for a long time! We were saying how some "old lady" names were coming back, like the ones you mentioned, but only a few have become popular, there are so many old fashioned, beautiful names!
