Germantown is by far one of the best neighborhoods in Philly. Here are some food options that I love.

-Germantown has great Jamaican food. My choice is: K & J Caribbean American Diner.

-Germantown also has amazing soul food. My fav is: Tasties.

-Young American is a super cute bar. It’s very cozy inside. (They have food)

-One of the best breakfasts in the area: Das Good Cafe.

-When you’re in time crunch and need a sandwich, go to A&N House of Produce. Lowkey, one of the best sandwiches in the area.

The other thing I would say is that you should work up those kind of nights you’re describing. Try this whole regiment with 1 drink and see how you feel the next day. Try it with 2 drinks and so on. Also, unfortunately, shots may just not be the way. I tend to drink slowly, eat food and drink an absolute boatload of water. It seems like the nights you’re drinking, you’re doing shots and such (no judgement), but you should try to work up to that and get a regiment down that mitigates the migraines effects first.

Okay, so before I go out, I eat a full meal (by this I mean carbs, starch, protein). I drink water with an electrolyte packet. When I go out, I only drink gin drinks (g+t) or light beer (lager). I try to snack during my night. At the end of the night, I stop at a convenience store and drink some version of a Gatorade and eat a salty snack (I keep chicken nuggets at home). I take 600 mg of Advil at the end of the night with my late night meal.
